3RD PERSON POV
"you could've used your power to save this world" a weak voice was heard coming from the ground.
a beaten-up figure lay on the dirt, covered in soot and fragments of the dark obsidian black void, blood trickling down their face.
"i could have. but this is not my world. y'know, y/n, i love you. i've loved you since you arrived in this world. no one knew where you came from, who you were, what you even were. you were so confused that day when you arrived through that portal. it was a portal no one had ever seen. even spoke. he knew you were someone different. he convinced me to track down your portal, find exactly when that portal would open up, and bring the chaos you see now." he paused, looking around at the fires burning, earth torn up, bloodied corpses' on the ground. he then turned to y/n, who was tearing up.
"it was all for a reason. and now, since i am god, come with me. once we finally rid the world of everyone, i will restore this place. just you and me. forever."
"i don't even know you anymore." y/n sobbed, crying for their friends, their only family, their sanity.
those were the words that broke ashswagg. he stood there silent for a few moments. contemplating his decisions. was it really worth it to kill spoke, parrot, clown, branzy, subz, and everyone else? if y/n wasn't happy, why should he be happy? he slowly took off his mask, wondering what had happened to him.
he walked over to y/n, sat down, and put their head in his lap.
"i'm sorry" he whispered after watching the sun set, for the very last time, with the one he had loved.
y/n was falling asleep, but as they fell asleep, they mumbled, "i love you ash, no matter what, even if you really fucked up."
he cried. hard. as he sat there, waiting for death to take them both, for he did not want to live.
he trembled as he opened the command block. he had planned this all along.

as he pressed yes, he kissed y/n's forehead, and hugged them tight as he prepared for the relief of death.
"i love you." he cried
