Hey Doodle Noodle!

I have something special to share with you! 💜

But first, as you can see this is not an update and it's not for a solid reason, this week was more challenging than expected.

The worst part is I literally have 4 one shots started: Kennedy and her cousins, the Rear Window part 2, Donovan and Carter, and a Mason and Carter. It's frustrating when I want to write but can't. Hopefully next week.

Though it's frustrating I didn't feel as stressed about not giving you an update because of these comforting comments.

Though I work hard to always have a chapter for you each Saturday, I know you'll understand and it's okay if I don't.

Then I realized I could share something I discovered lately. The title of this update is: Love is a Number. That might not make sense so I'll explain.

Love is a number because it's my love for you, not my characters, but for you that I've been writing these one shots for FIVE YEARS.

That's right, 5 years and 200+ one shots.

I never planned to write more for Carter, I used to say once I finish a book it's over and I move on. I don't like staying in one world for too long.

But you wanted more. I would allude to one thing in a one shot and you'd want that story.

Don't get me wrong, I love my characters but you and your love for my characters is the driving force behind these one shots. And I'm eternally grateful for that because without them I wouldn't have Mason in my life.

😂 You had to know that's where I would go! That man holds my heart.

But I get to have Mason and everyone else because of you. I don't think you understand how much you mean to me or how big of an impact you've had on my life.

You are a bright spot in my life! I wish I could meet each and everyone of you and hug you tightly and say thanks in person. I wish I could buy you ice cream and spend hours talking books, life and everything in between. Your love for my characters is amazing to me! And I'm sorry I can't express my gratitude well enough!

Please know that my life would not be the same without you, I truly mean that. You've been such a wonderful comfort during such hard times.

All of you, from the silent readers I only know from the read count, to the voters, to the commenters who make me smile! Thank you, thank you for it all!

This sounds like an ending to this one shot journey but like I said, I have 4 unfinished one shots and hopefully hundreds more to come! You made it so I had to start a second book of one shots, let's see if we can make it to a third. 💜
