Y/n's POV

"I think Subway is the way to go this afternoon, what about you?" I asked the black haired woman as we were standing in the parking lot of my workplace. Rosie thought for a moment before humming,

"I'm good with that. I've been to the one close by a few days ago, so I can get our food and meet you at your apartment if you'd like." Rosie offered as I dug into my pocket to get my credit card out,

"Sounds good to me," I stated as I got my card out and reached out to hand it to her, "here, use my card for the food."

Rosie looked down unimpressed at my credit card and reached up to push my hand back towards me,

"I'm going to be the one paying, y/n."

"Just let me pay, please?"

"No, you paid for the spaghetti you made last night, so live with it." Rosie countered as I sighed and lowered my head in defeat,

"Fine, you can pay. But can you get me a cookie? I know Aaron and Martha are working today, so just tell them that you know me and you'll get free cookies." I explained as Rosie gave me a confused look, but she slowly nodded her head,

"Alright, I'll make sure to mention you. I'll see you at your place then, y/n/n." I grinned at my nickname and waved goodbye to the woman before heading over to my car and getting in to start my drive back home.

But before I left the parking spot I was in, I decided to look up Rosie and her music. I quickly discovered that she was just using her normal name 'Roseanne Park' for her solo music now. That made sense though because YG Entertainment had the rights to 'Rosé' and all of that. Though I don't know how all that would work because the company went bankrupt, but this was probably just the safer option. I saw that she had one album under her released 8 months ago and it was titled 'More of You, Less of Me'. I had to smile to myself because I knew that was one of her favorite quotes.

The album cover was a beautiful picture of the top half of herself with her black hair facing away from the camera. She was wearing a loose black silk top and was hugging herself as her left arm was wrapped around her stomach and her right hand was holding onto her left shoulder. Her nails were pearly white and it contrasted beautifully with the black top and her hair. Rosie's head was turned to the right, showing off her impeccable side profile and her makeup was simple yet bold, highlighting her eyes. Then the background for the photo was a blue sky with clouds and a few distant birds flying to the horizon.

The album cover was a work of art.

I checked the track list and of course it was her second lucky number with 11 songs. The titles themselves seemed a mix between a vast majority of emotions. One track title though caught my attention over the rest and it was called 'Missing Is All I Can Do'. I clicked it as it made me curious and I pulled out of my parking spot and was immediately hit with a piano ballad.

Then the lyrics she sang with so much emotion ripped my entire soul out of my body and made me cry like a fucking child. I was full blown sobbing in my car as I drove and I could barely see through my tears because I knew one thing for certain.

This song was about me; it was about us.

Rosie sang about longing and missing a person so much that it drove her crazy, but all she could do was just miss them. It wasn't in her power to love the person how she wanted to. They were out of her reach and she felt helpless knowing that the person wasn't near her to help her heart beat. But she wasn't going to let herself forget them, so she was simply just going to miss them with every passing day.

Her story telling with her lyrics rivaled Taylor Swift's as she truly put the listener in her shoes by telling the story through her eyes.

And that hurt me beyond belief.
