Chapter Twenty-Seven

Madrid, Spain is a city I'm glad I'm in right now as back in Blackpink we've been so close to it, but never visited. When we would go to Spain on tour, we would go to Barcelona, so I wanted to give the capital of the country some love. Sadly though, that meant I couldn't have a show in Barcelona because of timing, but hopefully some fans from Barcelona can show up to my show tomorrow evening.

Y/n and I spent the day exploring the city as usual and getting souvenirs of our journey. We wanted to go to the Royal Palace of Madrid first as we knew later in the afternoon it would probably be more busy. We had gotten to Madrid at around 7:30am, so once we were in the van, we had our driver take us straight to the palace.

Instead of us walking around like idiots, we had a tour guide give us a tour of the palace and talk about its history and whatnot. I had my fingers laced with y/n's the whole time and I would have to sometimes tug her along because she got too distracted looking at something. I didn't want us to fall behind and then look stupid wandering around trying to find the tour guide.

But overall the tour was really nice and the palace itself was beautiful. I was thankful the tour guide was so kind to us and answered any questions we had. They told us even a few good spots to eat at, so I had written them down in my notes so I wouldn't forget.

Then in the afternoon today, we actually had tickets to go see Real Madrid gifted to us from Adidas since I am still signed with them. I was shocked because I literally didn't know about that until Jane said we were going to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, which is where Real Madrid plays.

I'm not super into football (or soccer) because that just wasn't what I grew up watching, but I know about Real Madrid and some basic terms. I do also know you want the ball in the goal.

But the stadium's atmosphere was super fun and the crowd had a great time cheering for their team. My girlfriend and I, along with some of my staff, were in the box seats that Adidas had, so we had a great view of the pitch. The free food we also had was amazing.

I posted some pictures and tagged Adidas, thanking them for the experience. Real Madrid actually won against Valencia, so everyone leaving the stadium was all smiles. Well, everyone who was a Real Madrid fan.

One day I'll play in a stadium that large with people solely there for me. The girls and I had performed at multiple stadiums back in the US during our encore run for the Born Pink Tour, so I know I wouldn't get nervous performing for that many people. It was super fun.

Actually, I say 'fun' very loosely as I was sobbing my eyes out still about the whole situation with y/n, but I digress. The shows themselves were fun and it was electric playing in front of that many people.

The rest of our day today was spent at a lovely restaurant tucked away in the far corner so y/n and I could just focus on each other. It was really nice and she talked about how Quil had met up with some of his relatives here since family on his dad's side lives here. She told me that actually a lot of extended family from the group she hangs out with lives in Europe.

I told y/n to ask around then what places are best in whatever cities the family members are from. She told me she would ask around and maybe that her and I could explore with whoever's family if they would allow us. I was up for it as that sounded really fun.

But now my girlfriend and I are back in our hotel room for the night. Y/n felt like having a little more food before we decided to go to sleep, so she ordered some ice cream for herself. It'll actually be here soon, so after she's done eating, we can go to bed in each other's arms.
