Luka panted, rushing to shavronne as he got on the bus and they started moving. He looked over his lover, ensuring he was unharmed, and he gently ran a finger over the blooming bruise on his cheek "Shavronne..." He kissed him softly, then was lightly pushed away "I know. I need to get back to talking to security. They're still on the ground out there." He headed off to make calls as Luka sat next to Kelli, curling up and grabbing a pillow that sat on the couch, clutching it tightly "that... wasn't Nathan. I could feel it." Kelli looked at him worriedly "is this what it's been like for you? Is this gonna end up on the news?" Luka shook his head. "This was... new. But I've never put myself out there like I did tonight..." urie sat on the couch opposite them. "Holy shit. You didn't tell me you had a cult after you!" Luka flushed with humiliation. "I-i didn't know... I thought all that was over..." He scratched at his arm slightly, then reminded himself to stop "I don't think that was Nathan. He isn't the type to get other people involved..." Kelli sighed, brushing his fingers through his curly hair and adjusting his glasses. "That wasn't his fault. Creeps are gonna creep." "That was more than fucking creeping, that was a whole ass riot!" Luka looked down, letting them argue. Guess it couldn't be easy... life wasn't easy... but that's ok. Everyone he loved was safe. That's what matters. After a moment, Shavronne came out, took a look at Luka, and frowned at the curled up position. He'd worried that something like this could happen but... "both. Of you. Stop arguing. It didn't help anything. I understand uriel, that things have been hard for you. But this is bigger than any of us. The internet is going crazy over this already, leaked photos and conspiracies flying like mad. My people are doing damage control, but the fact is, this isn't pretty, and you both are caught up in this, for better or worse. It isn't safe for any of us out there right now. There's been a lot of people radicalized over the last few months, and this was just the beginning of it coming to fruition. We need to stay together. Mir gefällt das nicht, and I know you don't either. But it is what it is. Let's get back up, or they win. Luka?" Luka looked up at shavronne, admiring the way he kept his calm. Someday, he'd get to that point too, he hoped. He bit his lip with a sharp tooth. "Yes?" Shavronne came over, crouching in front of him. He let Shavronnes hands, which gently cupped his face, steady him. "We need to get to the bottom of this... as much as I want to send you somewhere safe... I don't think we can trust anyone not in the van right now. Keep your wits about you, alright?" He nodded and kissed shavronnes palm, his heart aching for the trouble he couldn't help but feel he contributed to. Benji came out from a backroom, washing his hands. One of the security officers, frey, had been stabbed, and he'd been caring for her wounds. he came over and sat on the other side of Luka. "You kept your calm today. I'm proud of you, lukas." Luka nodded, a bit numbly. "People... are people getting hurt still?" Benji shook his head. "From what I've heard from Frey's earpiece, the police arrived soon after we left, and with the help of shavronnes security, Quelled the riot. I'm sorry your opening night didn't go exactly as you deserved... but hold on to the good. Don't let the dark erase it." Luka nodded, fiddling with the zipper on the pillow. "Do we know any more about how this happened?" Shavronne shook his head. "My people are working on it right now, for now, just try and get some rest till we return home." He stood and gave Luka one last loving look before heading up to the front of the bus to talk to hera, who was driving. "What's up with tall, bright, and silent?" Urie spoke up, causing a little giggle from Luka and Kelli. "He's the guy who rescued me, like I told you guys. He made a deal with a devil a long time ago, and uses it to hunt monsters." Urie looked over at him, unimpressed "you know, we're monsters in hunters eyes too." Luka shook his head "not to him. He's learned the hard way that people aren't as they first appear." Urie looked warily at the man Luka had grown to love, and just sighed, laying back. About an hour later, they arrived at the manor, and Shavronne gave him a quick kiss goodbye before heading off to start damage control. Hera and Richie went with him, and Cody stayed with Luka and his two newfound friends, guiding them to their rooms, where they all showered and sobered up before heading out into a living room. Luka came out to see Kelli talking to urie. He sat down, they were all wearing suits, though Kelli fit his much better than urie did, since there wasn't time to have them tailored and Kelli got one of Cody's, and urie got one of luka's. They all sat in the living room, going silent till Cody spoke. "I just got a text message from Shavronne. He is... beschämt, that he didn't see this coming. He has been on the phone with authorities all night, he had to go down to the station, but they let him go. Apparently they wanted to talk to Luka, but he managed to slip money into the right hands to keep that from happening." Urie chuckled, and Kelli spoke up "if you can trust a pig for anything, it's that they'll always act in their best interests." Urie nodded, though Luka felt a little uncomfortable. It was true cops scared him, but... they'd also saved him from his dad. But then again, he knew he wasn't the best judge of character at times. They talked through the night, and eventually, Shavronne came down to join them.
