Today was the first day at my new school. I put on a regular black shirt and dark blue jeans.

I went downstairs to see my mom making toast and bacon. My favorite breakfast. After she had just finished making it, she set my plate on the table. "Behave at your new school, okay?" She said to me. "I will." I said while rolling my eyes.

After I had finished eating, I grabbed my bag and walked out the door. I grabbed my bike and started riding it.

While I was riding my bike, I saw some kid walking his bike. I got off of my bike and started walking it. I caught up to him. I wanted to try and make some friends. "Hi." I said to him. "Hi." The boy said back to me. "I haven't seen you around. Are you new here?" He asks. "Yeah, I moved here two days ago." I replied.

"Nice. I'm Stanley, by the way." He said to me. "I'm Marcie. Marcie Hallman." I said to him with a smile. He smiled back.

The whole way to the school, we had talked with each other.

When we arrived at the school, he introduced me to his friends Richie, Bill, and Eddie.

"Stan, is this your girlfriend?" Richie asked.

I couldn't help but slightly laugh. "Beep, Beep Richie." Stan replied back to him. "S-so, what's y-your name?" Bill asked. "It's Marcie. Marcie Hallman." I said with a smile. "I-i-it's nice to m-meet you." He says while he gives me a smile. "You too." I reply.

"It's nice to meet you, too." Eddie said. "Nice to meet you." I said with another smile. Am I finally making friends?

We were talking for a little bit outside of the school, but then the bell had rang. "Well, I better get going to class. I would want to be late to class on my first day of school." I said with I said with a grin on my face.

I looked at my schedule, and I see that I had math first. I was never really good at math, but I also wasn't bad. I looked around the math room and saw Richie sitting in his seat. "Hello, class. Please welcome our new student, Marcie Hallman." The teacher said with a smile on her face. "You can go have a seat next to Richie. The one in the red glasses." The teacher added. I smiled at her and went to have a seat next to Richie.

It was now 3:30, which meant that it was the end of the school day. I was walking out of the school, but suddenly, someone grabbed my backpack and made me fall to the ground. "Where do you think you're going?" The person asked. "Home?" I say with an attitude. "Listen here, girl. Don't ever mess with me, you hear?" He says. "Henry, come on!" Someone shouts to him. "You're lucky." He whispers to me.

I get up, and I see Stanley with his friends. "Hey, guys!" I call out to them. "Hey, Marcie." They all reply in unison as I get over them. "I see you ran into Henry Bowers." Richie says. "Yeah. Does her bully you all, too?" I ask. "Yeah, he's always after us." Eddie says. "Oh." I reply. "Well, welcome to the losers club, Marcie." Richie says in a cheerful tone as he fixes his glasses.

"Losers club?" I question. "Yeah, it's the name we gave ourselves." Stan replied. "Why would you call yourselves the losers club?" I ask. "B-because o-of Bowers." Bill said. "Oh, I see. Because you get bullied a lot?" I ask. "Yeah, pretty much.
