We all arrive at Ben's house. We all run inside, but I glance over to see a woman putting up a missing person's poster.

We walk into his room and see that there is a bunch of things about the history of Derry all over his walls. "Woah, woah, woah, wow." Richie says. "Cool, huh?" Ben asks. "No, no, nothing cool." Richie replies. I look up to see a paper with I bunch of writing.

"What's this?" I ask. "Oh, that's the charter for Derry township." He replies. "Nerd alert." Richie says. "Beep, Beep Richie." I say. "No, actually, it's really interesting." Ben replies. "91 people signed the charter that made Derry, but later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace." Ben said. "The entire camp?" Eddie asked. "There were rumors of Indians, but no sign of an attack. Everybody just thought it was a plague or something, but it's like everyone just woke up and left. The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house." Ben said. Everything that he had just said gave me chills, but to add to that, I looked at a photo and saw something like a clown in the photo. I furrow my eyebrows, but I don't mention anything.

"Jeezus." Richie said.

"Where was the well house?" Bill asks. "I don't know, somewhere in the town, I guess. Why?" Ben replies. "Nothing." Bill mutters, but we can hear him, at least some of us.

When I get home from Ben's house, my mom isn't home still because she is still out of town.

I go into my room and change into dark blue jeans and red and black plaid button-up, long sleeve shirt. I know it is summer, but I wear what I  want.

I hear the basement door open. I go over to it and close it again, but it just opens once more. I start to get annoyed, and I walk down the basement stairs. I try to turn on the light, but it won't turn on. I grab a flashlight from the shelf and turn it on.

I get jumpscared by this clown like figure in the corner. "Who the fuck are you?" I ask. "Oh, well, I'm Pennywise the dancing clown." IT replies. "I don't believe the dancing part for one moment." I reply.

The clown starts to step towards me. I try to step back, but IT grabs my arm and covers my sleeve in blood.

I wonder who's blood it is.

It runs towards me in an un-human way, but luckily, I manage to escape the basement before I get killed. I nearly had a heart attack.
