                       𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 1989:

It has been two dreadfull months of being bullied by Henry Bowers, but the only good part was hanging out with my new friends.

A month ago, Bill had told me about his younger brother that went missing. I feel bad for him. Richie had said that children go missing a lot around here.

It was now the last day of school, and I was with Bill, Stan, Richie, and Eddie at the outdoor trashcan.

"Best feeling ever." Stan said as they dumped all of their school supplies in the outdoor trashcan. "Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time." Richie retorted. I just rolled my eyes. Richie always made jokes. Sometimes, they were funny, but sometimes they were also annoying.

"Hey, what do you guys wanna do tomorrow?" Eddie asked. "Start my training." Richie replied as he fixed his glasses. "What training?" Eddie asked. "Street fighter." Richie replied. He likes to play that arcade game a lot. "Is that how you wanna spend your summer? Inside of an arcade." Eddie asked. "Beats spending inside your mother." Richie retorted as he lifted his hand, waiting for a high-five, but Stan just shoves Richies hand down.

"Why don't we go to the quarry?" Stan asks.

"Guys, w-we have t-t-the Barron's." Bill replied. We made plans to go to the barrons. "Right." Stan replied. "Betty Ripsoms mom." I say as I spot Betty's mother standing in front of a police car with officer.

"Is she really expecting to see her coming out of the school?" I ask. "I don't know. As if Betty Ripsom has been hiding in home ec for the past few weeks." Eddie replied back.

"Do you think they'll actually find her?" Stan asked.

"Sure, in a ditch, all decomposed, covered in worms, and maggots, smelling like Eddie's moms' underwear." Richie said. "Beep, Beep, Richie." I say to him. "Shut up. That's fucking disgusting." Eddie said to Richie.

"S-she's not dead, s-she's m-m-missing." Bill said. "Sorry, Bill. She's missing." Richie said as he fixed his glasses again.

We start to walk away from the trashcan. "You know the Barron's aren't that bad. Who doesn't love splashing around in shitty water?" Richie says to all of us. Then someone grabs his backpack. It's Henry Bowers. Which makes him fall, but bumps into Stan making him fall down as well. Patrick Hockstetter, one of Henry's friends, kneeled down next Stan and grabbed the thing that Stan wore on his head.

"Nice Frisbee." Patrick said to him. "Give it back." Stan said to Patrick. "Give it back to him, Hockstetter." I say to him. He doesn't listen and throws it through the bus window.

Belch Huggins shoves Eddie to the ground. Henry and his gang start to walk away. "Y-you s-suck Bowers." Bill shouts. "Shut it, Bill." I whisper to him. Henry and his friends turn around. "Did you say something, B-B-Billy?" Henry says as he mimicks Bill's stutter.

"You got a free ride because of your brother this year." Henry says as he walks over to him. I start to get more mad at him, by him just saying that to him. "Ride is over, Denbrough." He finishes.

I see him glance over to one of the police officers. Henry said something else to Bill, but I didn't quite hear him. Then Henry walls away.

"Wish he'd go missing." Richie said. "He's probably the one doing it." I reply.
