Chapter 4: {The Phone Call}
Jughead:
-At 10:30-
I waited in the tree house, wearing a black hoodie with gray sweatpants on. She should be here anytime how I hope.
I looked at my phone and it's been 10 minutes. I sighed as I played with my hoodie drawstrings looking at my fingers.
I then heard someone climbing up the ladder.
My heart starting beating fast, I didn't know what to say to her or what was gonna happen.
I closed my eyes too nervous to see her face but then I heard a voice that's wasn't Betty's.
Toni: *whisper yells* hey!
I opened my eyes seeing her.
Jughead: Toni!? What are you doing here?
Toni: she's not coming dude.. she's at some party with Archie.
I looked down and I stopped playing with my hoodie.
Jughead *sighs* I should've known..
Toni: I'm sorry dude.. but I ordered you favourite! Pops! *smiles*
Jughead: I'll be right there..
Toni went fully into the treehouse and sat next to me. I felt her touch my hands.
Toni: she's not worth it.. besides she's married and has kids. You can find someone who isn't married and has no kids.
I looked at her and fake smiled.
Jughead: I'll be right inside Toni.. I promise..
Toni: alright.. but don't be long! *leaves*
I took out my phone and went into my contacts. I looked at Betty's contact and pressed on it, making me call her. I put my phone on speaker and I looked at my phone the whole time.
Betty: *on the phone*
Jughead? Shit.. I didn't see the time..
Jughead: *on the phone*
You didn't huh? Wow.. *scoffs*
Betty:
I'm serious..Juggie yk me.. but dw I'll head over now-
Jughead:
no, let's talk now.
Betty:

Jughead:
Now, I'm done waiting.
Betty sighed and whispered softly.
Betty: fine just first let me get somewhere private.
I waited until she said she was somewhere else.
Betty: okay.. what do you wanna know?
