{Chapter 13- "Thanks for the gift.."}
Betty:
I woke up in Jugheads bed, I looked around seeing both Audrey and Ava were gone.
I sat up and opened my phone to a bunch of apology messages from Archie.
Betty: *scoffs* he does this every time.
I turned off my phone and slowly went downstairs.
The smell of bacon made me smile, a walked towards the smell stopping at the kitchen.
Jughead was playing a board game with Ava, as Toni was cooking breakfast with Aubrey mixing the mix for the pancakes.
Ava: *sees her* mama!
Jughead, Toni & Aubrey all looked smiling at me.
Aubrey: Mom..! Look I'm making pancakes with chocolate chips..!
Betty: *smiles* the smell delicious, Aubrey..
Jughead: how was your sleep?
Betty: I'm still a little tired but other then that, your bed is amazing..
Betty went into the kitchen taking a piece of bacon from the plate.
Toni: so have you decided if your gonna stay?
Betty: no, I really should I go.. besides Archie is going to Greendale for the weekend to help build some new homes, so me and the kids will have the house to ourselves.
Jughead: well Cooper, yk doors are always open to you and the kids.. *smiles*
Betty: *smiles softly* yes thank you Toni and Jughead, for letting us stinky butts stay over.
Ava: mommy..! I don't have a stinky butt *giggles*
Betty: *smiles and goes kiss her head*

In return, from Betty and the kids staying over, Betty invited me and Toni over for dinner.
Toni already had plans with Cheryl so it was just me going over.
I got out of the car and went slowly up to her door with a box of cookies.
Before I even got the chance to knock on the door, it immediately opened.
It was Betty, her hair was down and straight while she was wearing a short pink dress.
I never thought she would keep getting so beautiful, until now.
Betty: hey..
Jughead: hey, uh *gives her the box of cookies* for the kids or you..
Betty: *takes it* thank you Jug, but uh where's Toni?
Jughead: oh uh she had plans with Cheryl, so is it okay if it's just me?
Betty: oh! of course, I also forgot to say the kids are at Veronica's so it will, be just us..
I checked her out softly, as she bit her lip and grabbed my tie pulling me inside.
I felt her close the door behind me and gently push me against the door.
I looked in her eyes, while she looked in mine.
Betty: *whispers* thanks for the gift..
jughead: of course..
She took the box of cookies from my hands, and placed it on the ground next to them.
I felt her hands around my neck and going closer to me, I looked in hers then to picture frame of her and Archie on there wedding day, on the wall Infront of me.
Jug: *looks back at her* we should eat..
