{Chapter 8: "Your driving me crazy, Jones"}
Jughead:
I looked at her playing with her fingers and overall strap while looking at the floor.
She looked back at me and tightened her ponytail as she sighed.
Betty: "I wanna apologize.. i am a terrible best friend for leaving you in the dust after what happened."
I saw her eyes water as she crossed her arms.
Betty: "I hate hurting you, I can't lose you, your my everything"
Jughead: "Then why did you lead me on? Why did you do it, you weren't fully drunk.. you knew what you were doing, betts"
Betty: "I just wanted a night with my best friend, a night to escape my life. But I know now I shouldn't have played with your feelings"
I looked at her with no response, I didn't know what to say, or what she wanted me to say.
Betty: "your driving her crazy, Jones" *giggles*
Jughead: "like wise, Cooper" *smiles a lil*
All I could do was put my arms out for her.
Jughead: "come here, betts"
She immediately went into my arms, with her holding me tight.
Betty:
I started to cry in his arms, I hated myself for hurting my best friend. He was my everything, I've always had a feeling for him deep down.
I was scared to lose him, so I never brought out my feelings. I hid them because I didn't want to ruin our friendship.
So I found Archie, he was the football captain and was honestly the most perfect boyfriend/husband ever.
But he was too perfect. Maybe I don't want perfect anymore, maybe I want a imperfect guy in my life.
-30 minutes later-
Jughead:
Me and Betty were cuddling watching a movie on my laptop, with pops on my nightstand and her arms around me.
I really wanted to stay mad at her, She has this control over me, like I can't say no to her. I should've known, since she has this spell over me since in middle school.
I never thought I'd even be best friends with such a beautiful blonde girl like Betty.
The prefect cheerleader with the perfect red headed boyfriend, is now laying next to me drinking a pops milkshake being in my bed.
Betty: *looks at him* I've missed you Juggie..
Jughead: I've missed you too..
She put herself higher on my chest as I saw her big eyes looking at me softly.
Jughead: what are you trying to do, Cooper?
Betty: looking at your cute face.. *smiles*
I rolled my eyes looking away as I saw her slowly start to shut her eyes.
Soon she fell asleep in my arms, so I turned off the tv and got comfortable. Making myself fall asleep soon after.
