{Chapter 9: "Were Just Friends"}
Betty:
After last night, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, I finally got my best friend back.
I got home, seeing the rose petals all over the ground and Archie passed out on the couch.
Betty: shit!
I forgot about our anniversary again! Shit now I feel like a terrible wife..
Aubery: *goes downstairs* Mom? Where have you been? Dad has been waiting all of yesterday for you..
Betty: f-fuck.. uh shit.
I started to panic, I felt my heart beating fast as I breathed heavily.
My vision started to get blurry as I held onto to the wall going into the living room.
Aubrey: M-mommy!
Betty: A-Auber-
Everything went black.
Jughead:
-10 minutes after Betty left-
I was downstairs eating a plate of bacon and eggs that the greatest cook, Toni Topaz made me.
Toni: how were the eggs and bacon? I used a different brand of bacon since the good bacon brand ran out at the super market.
Jug: no! They are good as always..
Toni: god Jones, I swear I don't even need children. I have you.. *giggles*
I rolled my eyes smiling at Toni, as my phoen started to ring. I turned my phone over and saw it was Veronica.
Veronicas calling me? The Veronica Lodge who was the biggest mean girl in high school.
Betty befriended her after she stopped being the rich mean girl she used to be.
Jughead: *answers* Veronica?
Veronica: Jughead?? Thank god..!
Jughead: Why did you call me?
Veronica: it's Betty, she's in the hospital.
Jughead: hospital???
Veronica: she passed out when she came home, Archie and the kids are with her now.
Jughead: okay, I'm coming now.
Veronica: we are on the third floor and the room number is 574
-at the hospital-
When I got to the hospital, Betty was up with Archie and the kids by her side.
Veronica came up to me, with her hand on her pregnant belly.
Veronica: thanks for coming Jughead..
jughead: yeah of course. She's my best friend.
Veronica: *smiles* and mine too..
Betty:
Archie was holding my hand, as the girls were sitting on the couch playing games on their iPads.
Archie: I'm so glad your okay betty.. but I'm still mad at you.
Betty: I know.. I'm sorry I just.. you were mad at me so I didn't think you wanted me around, since I forgot about our anniversary..
Archie: *sighs* I'm sorry I made you feel that way my love..
I felt his one hand on my cheek and the other holding my hand.
Betty: I'm sorry for being such a bad wife.. Archie Andrews.
I looked at Aubrey and Ava cuddling each other on the couch looking at us.
Betty: *sighs* I'm sorry I'm not being a good mommy to you both.. your my everything and your dad, I'm sorry you had to see me pass out..
Aubrey: it's okay mommy..
Ava: w-we know you can't control it..
Betty: *tears up a lil* I'm a terrible mommy..
Ava & Aubrey: *go on her bed*
Aubrey: M-mommy don't say that..
Ava: your the best mommy in the world ! *both hug her*
I smiled as they both went in my arms, Archie leaned in and kissed me softly.
But after he pulled away, I saw jughead looking at me through the window in my hospital room.
Betty: Jughead...
