Chapter 12- Stay As Long As You Need
-A Week Later-
Jughead:
Me and Betty have been seeing a lot more of each other since she was in the hospital.
She's been wanting a distraction away from Archie, cause after she got back home their relationship has been non-stop fighting.
And before you know it, Betty came to my door with Audrey & Ava.
Betty and the kids were soaking wet from the pouring rain, with Betty holding Ava with one hand and holding Audrey's hand with the other.
Jughead: Betty? Is everything okay?
Betty: *sniffles* can we stay with you for a couple days..?
I saw the tiredness from crying all in her eyes.
Toni: *comes to the door and sees them* you guys are soaking..! Come inside..
Toni and I moved to the side allowing them to come in.
-later-
After the unexpected visit from betty and the kids, Betty and I were on the couch as the kids were sleeping in my bed, as well as Toni making hot chocolate for Betty.
Jughead: what happened, Betty?
She was cuddled up in a warm blanket looking at me tired.
Betty: me and Archie, fought and uh the kids were crying and all.
And as soon as he went to bed I needed to leave the house, me and the kids.
Toni: *goes over to her* here.. *places it in her hands*
Betty: thank you.. *smiles a lil*
Toni: of course, stay as long as you need.
Jughead: yeah she's right, I'll come with you to grab your things and you can stay as long as you want.
Betty: no it's really okay, besides I already feel bad enough your sleeping on the couch for us.
Jughead: Betty you should stay for awhile, until Archie becomes a man and try's to fix things with you.
Toni looked at me like she was a proud mom.
Betty: *smiles* gosh I love you sm Jug..
Jughead: *smiles* I love you too Betts..
Betty: *yawns* I'll think about it.
Toni: well If you do end up deciding to leave, then before you go tomorrow I am gonna make pancakes for the kids..
Betty: *smiles getting up* gosh, your a life saver Toni.
Toni: you know it, now I'm gonna head to bed, you gonna come Betty?
I saw Betty give me a guilty look.
Jughead: Go with her Betty, I promise I'll be fine.
Betty: okay fine.
Sooner or later after Toni and Betty fell asleep I did as well.
