Chapter 3
Audrey's P.O.V
I woke up with a pounding headache. I rolled over and snuggled into something warm. Dang, I shouldn't have had that much to drink. I barely remember last night.
I froze when I felt my pillow move. Somethings not right, for one, drunk or not I usually wake up screaming from nightmares. Two, my bed doesn't have a feather blanket and silk sheets. Three, THERE IS SOMEONE IN HERE! I opened my eyes and almost screamed. I was in a bed with Cody Jones! What the fudge? I got up to see I was in a huge t-shirt. I tried to remember last night and I had a vague memory of Cody fighting some guy and then carrying me away while I passed out.
I looked around and spotted my dress and shoes. I have no idea why Cody of all people was looking out for me but I'm getting out of here. And I'm taking this shirt because it's really comfty and smells good, like axe mixed with cookies. I love cookies. I grabbed my stuff and slowly sneaked out into the hall. I started walking but I swear this house was bigger than mine! After about an hour, I was officially lost. Sighing in frustration, I slid down a wall. I had school today. I checked my phone that I had in my purse and saw I had 40 minutes to get to school.
A second later, a door opened and a girl walked out. She looked at me in shock and then in confusion. She asked,"I thought you had school today? Cody said you had already left." I looked over her warily. She looked to be about my age, which is a year younger than Cody's. I skipped kindergarten. when I was younger. I nodded and replied back,"I do have school and I've been trying for an hour to get out of this house but I'm completely lost and now probably late for school." She smiled big and said,"Come on. You can take a shower and borrow some of my clothes. By the way, my name's Bonnie, I'm Cody's younger sister." I looked at her confused and said,"Why haven't I seen you before? Like at school and stuff?" She shrugged and answered,"Because I chose to be home schooled. Now, come on before your late to school!" I smiled and got up. She thought and took my hand before leading me up to a room which I recognized as the one I was in earlier which I'm guessing is Cody's. She looked at me and said,"You can take a shower and here and I'll bring you some clothes." I nodded and walked into his bathroom.
It was actually really clean. It had a black and white theme. I turned on the water and after undressing, got in. The hot water felt good. I looked and saw that Cody had axe shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.I hurried and washed up and after another five minutes got out. After getting out, I wrapped myself in a big black fluffy towel. I walked out and saw Bonnie sitting on Cody's bed waiting for me. She smiled when I came out and said,"Here are some dark ripped purple skinny jean, a new pair of underwear and bra. I couldn't find a good shirt as I need to do laundry so just steal one of Cody's. Oh, and this makes me feel stupid but what's your name? You know Cody never brings home girls. Ever." I looked at her weirdly before answering,"My name's Audrey." Her mouth drops open and she asked,"Your the Audrey? Oh my gosh! You are officially my new and only best friend. Now, get dressed and then meet me at my room." i nodded and she zoomed off.
I hurriedly and got dressed. After I was dressed in what Bonnie brought me, I started looking for a shirt. I found one that was a black t-shirt that says: I'm smiling, this should scare you!
It looked awesome. I hope Cody doesn't notice I'm wearing his short or he might go off on me as we both hate each other and that means I should so not be wearing his shirt. Afterwards, I grabbed my clothes and put them in a bag. I also grabbed that other shirt that I slept in. I walked out and headed towards Bonnie's room. I knock and heard her say,"Come in!"
I walked in and she as flipping through a magazine. She looked up and smiled before frowning and getting up. She walked towards her closet and brought out a pair of old worn black converse. I smiled and slipped on a pair of socks she handed me and then the converse. She said,"You can keep the clothes and converse. I don't wear them anymore. Now, just leave your stuff in here and you can come get them after school! Oh and if you want, we can hang out! Do you want to?" She looked so excited and hyper that I laughed and answered,"Sure! Now, how do I get to school?" She rolled her eyes as she retorted,"By me of course! We can take my Ferrari!" I smiled. I've decided that I like Bonnie. She could be another best friend next to Caroline and Ethan.
