It's a new school week.
We are supposed to be having Government but our teacher, Corper Victoria is sick and took a day off.
I was siting alone minding my business as usual.
I was going through *Things Fall Apart* by Chinua Achebe.
I just fell in love with this book, and I have read it for more than a twenty times.
Achebe's style of writing is soo unique and captivating.
I'm even thinking of naming my first child Chinua.
"you are so funny Ella, you can't even stand a guy talking you, talk more of getting married and giving birth to Kids" my inner voice scorned.
I ignored it trying to focus on what I was reading.
"Hii!!" I heard a familiar voice say.
I pretended to be engrossed with what I was reading.
"Just drop the pretence,Ella.
I know you heard me." he frowned."Thank God you know that,Femi..
I don't want troubles with Sophia, just leave me alone." I rebuffed."Listen,I don't have anything to do with Sophia." He explained.
"Why are you even telling me that?,I have no business with you Femi."
"You know I really like you, right?
Nut I was afraid you would ignore me like the others but I can hide it anymore,Ella.
I will really like to be friends with you.".Right,Boys and their troubles.
This is exactly what I have been avoiding.
One of the reasons my friends left me was because they felt I was getting all the attention from most of the boys in my class.
A boy once flared up and called me a snob because whenever he approached me ,I did what I knew how to do best.
Behaving as if no one is talking to me.
But Femi is so stubborn and won't let me be even after ignoring him several times.
