"How nostalgic..." I breathed out slow. I had dropped off my bike at the apartment to take a taxi and to pick up the supplies which were cased in dark black leather briefcases.
"What's that?" The driver asked, I handed her the fee after saying "Oh it's nothing." With that she gave a little wave as she drove off, not wasting a second to get away, probably knowing what I was carrying.
Stepping out of the car I craned my head up to survey the grey building, Ugh maybe this is too nostalgic I thought. Taking the two briefcases I walked straight up to the door pushing it open with my shoulder.
The building felt fairly warm despite the cold silver interior and tired faces of the employees all dressed in black suits typing on computers or talking fast into their cells.
"C~h~o-chan, You came!" Only one person would call me that, I turned around and smiled to see the small white haired boy, the only person with interesting clothes in this building was walking up to me in bunny slippers.
"Suzuya how're you doing , and Shinohara-san its been too long." I directed the second part to Suzuya's partner a man of large stature and a square face who showed up moments after Suzuya.
"Ah we were just on our way to lab three to see the demonstration." Shinohara said with a light smile, that's what I liked about him he was kind to everyone but some people get put off by his looks.
I started walking past the RC detector and down the long hallway, they both followed me.
"You're in luck, it's Parva today in lab four." I said, Suzuya was playing with his suspenders and looked up with interest when I said Parva.
"Also Yanagi-san." Shinohara leaned in, "Arima is here." I froze at his words I knew what this meant but continued walking. Just because he's here doesn't mean he's here for you I thought.
"Tch damn old man." I muttered but Suzuya heard.
"Isn't he only about seven years older than you?" He asked curiously but I didn't reply because we had arrived at the lab.
