As the teacher hands out the examination papers, I could feel my heart pounding on my chest.

'What if I don't remember everything we reviewed last night?'

'Sh!t, stop overthinking. You'll forget everything if you do.'

I shook my head and took the paper from my teacher's hands. I glanced at the paper and immediately recognized a question.

With that, I felt confident and started by writing my name. I started with the questions and answered it easily.

As I was in the middle of answering the 13th question, I felt someone staring at me. I looked up to my right and saw Kazuha staring at me with admiring eyes and that goddamn bright smile.

I smiled back at him and went back to answering the test. I heard Mrs. Lopez, our adviser, let out a chuckle as I felt her stare on us.

I felt confused, but dismissed it and did my best to focus on my test.

As I sat on my chair, I started to click on my pen continuously as I got stuck in a question.

'True or False. If f and g are two functions such as lim f(x) as x --> a = + infinity and lim g(x) as x --> a = + infinity then lim [ f(x) - g(x) ] as x --> a is always equal to 0.'

'Sh!t, I forgot about this question again.'

I started to panic and bounce my legs back and forth. I looked around, trying to find the information around my brain, but to no use, I couldn't really remember.

I looked around, trying to find something that might help me remember the answer. Soon, my eyes unconsciously dropped to Kazuha.

He was also looking around, until he looked at me, which then made me realize I stared at him for a whole minute.

I looked away in panic and continued my hunt for the answer. I looked back at him and he had that same frickin smile that never ceases to brighten my day.

He smiles even more and winks at me. With that, I felt so flustered and was about to panic once again when...

It was like I got deja vu. The feeling of realization as I confidently state my answer.

"False! Infinity is not a number and infinity - infinity is not equal to 0. + Infinity is a symbol to represent large but undefined numbers. - infinity is a small but undefined number."

I confidently stated. I smiled even more once he told me the correct answer. "You're correct. You're getting good at this."

I jolted on my seat and immediately write the complete answer. I smile as I continue to answer the rest with no hesitation and hardships.

Finally, I reached the last question. I answered it easily and sat up with a relieved sigh.

I passed my paper and left the room. I stayed near the door and took out my phone to text my friends.
