Y/n felt lost, like a little puppy left by its owner. 'Should I tell him? But I've been avoiding him like the plague for days now.'

She looked at her phone and glanced at the many messages Kazuha and his friends sent her.

'Goddammit, I feel so bad.'

She gripped her phone with tears in her eyes.

'But at the same time, I don't know how to explain it to them...'

Y/n sighed and put her phone away, deciding to get some fresh air and forget about her problems.

She walked out of the building and embraced the breeze passing by.

She lifted her head and smiled at the comforting coldness.

'Never fails to calm me down.'

Feeling the familiar breeze, memories appeared in her mind.

.

..

...

"Hahaha! Come and chase me! That is if you can!" I put out my tongue at him and ran away, the snow making a sound with each step I took.

He stayed silent and stood there, just watching me run around.

He hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Is it really okay for you to run around in such a careless manner?" He sounded so unsure of himself back then.

Confused, but also curious.

"Of course! What makes you think so otherwise?" He hesitated before speaking up.

"I... I guess I've never played with snow before. I've learned not to play with my food as I grew up." He shrugged, picking up some snow with his gloved hand.

I looked at him with this weirded out, shocked expression.

"Food?"

"I thought you weren't allowed to eat snow? Snow is dirty!" I exaggerated and mimicked a puking sound.

Thinking of it back then, it might've been an insensitive reaction. But just imagining eating snow... It disgusts me.

"Forget it. Let's proceed." He stood straight and shook off some snow from his jacket.

I smiled and began to run away from him, which left him both shocked and confused. I turned around and laughed at him.

"You have to chase me, dummy! You win once you catch me!" I continued to run while laughing, trying to run as far as possible.

Soon, I could hear him joining me and also started to run. The two of us ran in circles, seemingly never running out of energy.

Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks. He removed his jacket and continued running after me.

I looked at him, to his jacket, and then back to him.

"What's that for? Aren't you cold?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. "The cold doesn't bother me."

With that, he continued running, which caught me off guard. So I ran faster while giggling.

"You're so bad at this game!" I teased and continued to run.

For a moment, I couldn't hear his footsteps. And before I knew it, I was pinned on the ground with him on top of me, looking at me with a somewhat annoyed and irritated look.

"You lose. I win." He let go of my arms and stood up swiftly, stretching his gloves. He picked up his jacket and wore it over his shoulders.

I looked at him with tears brimming in the corner of my eyes.

I caressed my wrists and held it tightly, the pain settling in. Tears fell from my eyes, and I soon burst into tears.

"It hurts!!" I cried and tried to ease up the pain by gripping it tighter, but it only made the pain worse.

I started sobbing harder and harder until I could hear some footsteps rushing towards us.

I opened my eyes to see my brother, holding gripping his collar with a glare. I quickly stood up and tried to calm him down.

"Brother! Calm down!" I yelled and tried to make him let go of our cousin. "We're just playing with the snow! Nothing serious!"

"I-I just fell, he didn't mean to hurt me!" I cried and pulled them both apart.

He glared at our cousin laying on the ground and gritted his teeth at him.

"Don't you dare lay a hand on my big sister." His eyes looked so dark and scary.

I would've never thought my younger brother would look at me the same way he did to him.

Y/n sighed at the memory and adjusted the jacket she wore.

Thinking of her childhood only made her feel more lost.

'I'm so lost...'

'Dear Archons, please help me.'
