There were hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades.

It was always that way in those games.

And in the kingdom of Spades, there were omniscient buildings that were close to all of the guards. A Castle was led by a Heart, and the skies were always dreary, leading to rain, due to a massive conflict that happened in the kingdom many years ago—over a hundred years ago. Nature was still prevalent and the armies have been split into four—into many playing cards: the Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades. One would declare to fight, the other would call uprisings, leading the people of Spades to face horrific times. No one awakened the four armies in this kingdom—a myriad of problems have razed the armies.

But all that could mean was everything that came for me. They knew all this destiny too well to make sure that arrests could happen. The age to ride a carriage was seventeen, along with all four armies. The kingdom of Spades and Karthass were founded many years ago by an establishment named the Spades—the kingdom was named after them. They have erupted over the kingdom for many years and they denied the fact the conflict spread. All four armies were enemy armies for multiple reasons. Their swords had an abundance of meaning, including the Hearts, and eventually the Ace family.

The official statue was that of a dragon, one that was from the Diamond Army. But as the main army was the Hearts, they would flee to fight against them, but they would surrender to make the Diamonds take the throne. As Jokers were established, they wanted to rule—under the tyranny, of their kind.

But, if they wanted to fight, war would rise again, in the eyes of the Spades.

I started at the gates and watched the sky fall, into multiple greyness and my hair touched my face. My eyes were dark-brown and I already had blood stained on my gloves. I already washed them off, but I couldn't look further. Not even further than that, as a Heart. The guards have been wanting to capture me, but since then, the gates have closed again. Shock washes over me as I try to get myself to flee. But that had been denying me. All for the monster they have become.

No, no, no, all of those curses. Thorns. Liars. Receiving a cloth. All my memory had vanished, but the precarious sound had warned me. I could feel my eyes on the gates, where roses were spilt over. Knives. Gates. Swords. Now I remembered all of this well during the rainy night. The sound of steel had me thinking and now I have no one to be with. No one. Again. They are trying to make me a threat. A killer. I'm not one. I'm horrified.

As if I could lose my trust easily, my issues weren't prepared. I watched both jokers walk by me and they stared at each other. They could disarm each other all by a kill. That could lead to precarious murder in a second. A soldier's head shifted in direction and then he could see all the cards, ripped in half on the floor. Now he knows they're cursed. And so is this kingdom.

The blade itself. A shine in the air. Darker than I thought it would be.

The royal sword. A cursed one. A blade of a sword was concealed, all by someone controlled by a king. In the darkness and absence of light that the room had, I've been quiet and still. No one will find me. I have been afraid. Of all those things. I was a soldier but a prisoner out of all the others, for having believed I had killed a guard. I didn't. They didn't fully look into it. All the swords just disappeared. Vanished. Not almost. They were gone, disappeared into somewhere I've never found.
