Reminders go around me as I look at myself in the mirror. I haven't felt this much threat in my life. Never. My face reflected while I set my hands on my chin, my chest already tightening, and I was already shaking, shivering like a bird in its nest. I stared at the mirror until I shut my eyes into darkness for five seconds while I opened them again.

My hands were finally going down and I stopped shaking. I blinked multiple times and yet was still looking at the mirror. I turn myself around and lift my head, dropping to the floor, placing my hands around my head desperately. Shock stretched around me as I heard the jokers walking around the halls, looking for another game. I thought that it was like some reprimand and that I wanted to see what they'd done.

"No, no!" a scream went over the rooms while the guards kept walking.

That scream. I hear it, crawling into my ears. The sound of it coming down was already beginning to be ominous. But just for a short while. I went around and set my eyes on the guards, peeking at them.

A guard raised an eyebrow at the other while he spoke afterwards. He glared at him after what he'd heard. "Sir. This problem is all that you'd hear. Besides this, you'll need to tell the others about that."

"Why?" The other guard asked.

The guard put his hands on the other's neck. He chokes. The guard's voice was about to rise, and his eyebrows descended. "Tell the guards about this. Now. I'm warning you."

"No, but, you can't just warn me that—"

"Shut up!" the joker screamed as he lifted the glass. He then threw many cards on the floor, refusing to withdraw his task. "You can't wait longer."

"What?" she asked him.

"Get her out of this place now. Or else something threatening will happen." the joker interjected. "Now."

She lifted herself from the bed and walked out of the room while she ran her hands around her face. Her throat was tightening and she looked around. It was like there was a mix of fear, desolate moods, and nightfall at the same time. She continuously walked until she saw Rika, raising an eyebrow at Carietta while she spoke to her.

"You know that I can't just make you play the game. What that even is," she told her.

"Well." Carietta raises an eyebrow at her, leaving a smirk on her face and trying not to laugh. "It's not faulty but sudden."

"Don't be so ignorant," Rika said sheepishly. "I'm not hopeful, but at least you don't waste your time worrying."

"I don't at all," Carietta said to me. She sets her hands on each other, and later her smirk fades off. "I don't believe that."

"Carietta." Rika interrupted. "I don't believe this either."

"Why don't you believe all of this?" Carietta asked her, her moods starting to mix up. Her eyes felt like twitching at the moment.
