We stop at a place full of fog. Dark leaves encircle the trees and we stop at the place where abandoned houses were there broken into multiple pieces by a storm.Except it wasn't last night. The darkness crawled over us like fire blazing, and thorns coming together. None of us were absent, just most of us were confused, and minds were racing about what had happened to the others. Rayada's here. Her dress is still scattered with all the water and rainfall, and she felt afraid, afraid like never before, like her eyes had brighetened up precariously. She closed them rapidly. She's questioning. As we spoke to each other quickly about the other incidents her eyes gazed at us, and she thought of Sharren, and about all her family. And she had to take care of them, all of them, as she had thought. And if she did not, then she may have to run away from her real dangers. She didn't say much as she watched us in horror. She did not have a choice but take out her sword, dragging it from the palm of her hand, outside in the open. She screamed, and all of a sudden she isn't speaking. Now she is silent. She's been through this for many days, and now she's still. Still and quiet. Quiet as she could be, but she still remembered: her own past. Her own life. All the guards that were killed in the war.
She's crossing her arms, tightly as well, but her hair swept over them, slowly. She's closing her eyes again. Her lips were shut. Anger had crossed over her while she darkened her own thoughts. Stutter. Stutter. Over the leaves, she watched us. She stared at us for a moment.
"I don't want them to know."
We look at her.
"What?"
"About this." she exclaimed, her voice barely above a shout. "They'll fight me if they did."
"Yer ésser it l'hatte?" Aaron asked.
"What is done should be done." Kyra told her.
"Kyra?" Aaron asked her. She stopped and looked at him. Her palms tightened and she silently held herself to think. "Let her speak."
Kyra agreed. I watch her prepare to stop thinking, and then she continued. "All those jokers wanted was me to go. Go and surrender. I will not do that. They always wanted to do this. Since the day I've gotten my sword. Even since I was young. Now, I'm here. Everyone has something to hide, even them." Rayada said. She stopped crossing her arms and then they clench. Tightly. Prolonged.
"Are you sure they have anything to hide?" Kyra asked her.
"They do, I agree. Their lies are unsurprising. But every lie they've had was different and unfortunate." She told Kyra. "Now. I'm here to discuss all of them. Their actions."
"What happened to Rika?" A question had made a thought in my mind. None of us saw what happens to her. No one but Carietta. She will tell us soon. She's known all of this. And now she'll tell us soon.
"Who's Rika?" Rayada asked us.
"She is a solider." I told her. "One that has an ally, Ericson."
"I know all about him." I said. "He's one person who is a solider. To Rika. And the others."
