My head was down and I didn't feel comfortable about trying to work with the guards. I felt like clenching my jaw and the guards didn't even warn me about someone breaking into their game. An abominable sound interrupted me and I opened my eyes. It was so...unexpected to me. For a second, I blinked multiple times so I couldn't see what was wrong with the guards. They were preparing for the first game, and it wasn't like it was a great start.

Rika must've told me about the second chance the game will begin. Her life wasn't even devoted to skill, she'd rather be sewing clothes than playing a single round of it. I didn't know what the hell the guards would think of when they saw me copying their handwriting perfectly. I would never. I walked up to the guards, and, at every glance they took, they realised something was important to them.

The inheritance was near me and I wasn't surprised. It wasn't like an approach of forgiveness, but what I could tell was that I'd never heard of anyone in the past few days.

"Aaron. Would you come inside, please?" A guard said.

I sighed quietly, so that the guards couldn't hear me. I walked inside a room where they were dealing with what had happened last night. Without hesitation, the guards could hear my steps. I sat down in one of those seats. I didn't want to hear the same thing about the card game, as what had happened many times.

"Aaron, we're sorry to have interrupted you." The joker told him. "But as we dig into this topic, we'd want you to be quiet."

I didn't answer as I listened to what he said. Silence breaks in for a few seconds and then the topic begins to be discussed.

"As what had happened last night, it wasn't peaceful for us, as we had to force someone to leave this place. She was breaking in around midnight, and she wanted to take something with her." The joker told him. "We're just sorry for any disruption this has caused."

"It's fine," I said to the guard. "I hope something similar won't happen again."

"You can go now." The joker said.

A card game was just going on when I stopped the conversation. I went to the doors, peeking through the windows, finding out that there was a game continuing.

As one person placed a card down, the other player was threatened to continue playing. They set the other card down. A three-heart card was placed on top of the other. Then a spade one was placed upon. Another card that had multiple diamonds on it was placed upon that, too. Then the queen card was on it, and the round was over.

     Another round was left.

The round lasted longer than the first. It started with a diamond card, that was on the table. The other player set the card that had the same symbol, although there were four of them. It was placed upon it, and then another one. Then a club card was placed upon it.
