I watch the moon rise

I watch the moon rise. The sight of my kingdom was near, and all I could do was think of all the other guards ahead like Ericson asked my brother about secrets. My sword was similar to mine but was smaller. In the palm of my hand, I held a diamond card, which was the one that resembled the army I was from. For many years the Diamonds were under the kingdom's rule, and they would try hard to succeed.

None of this kingdom—especially us—would be tormentors to our swords, but it was already dark outside, and the moon had risen over the sea of clouds. It was usually a rainy night, but the same applied to all the other kingdoms. One guard had betrayed me before we were taken to this cursed ruler, one that used to be my companion. That would be imperious for me to know, but I stood next to Aaron and his sword breached through the dimmed, blurry, ghost-like night sky, over his dark coat that the Diamonds had given him in the previous kingdom.

Now, Aaron wants to know all of those secrets, even the ones the Joker hid. After the jokers have taken someone out of their imprisoning room, it would be difficult for him to tackle all of those dangers. Rika had confronted Carietta before and Aaron had to talk to her. But her kingdom was far from his, and that meant he had to go overseas. In this deadly game, his chances of surviving are slim. After he went with me to the woven, thorn-swarmed gates, leading to the gateway of the castle, he stood still. The gates were connected and closed. The air scattered over my dress and my eyes narrowed at the gates were not open. Then they close. The glass entrance reminded me of a mirror that broke, and my brother had to clean it. Then they took it as a consequence. He's going to return to see those people again.

He drew his sword, down his palms, hearing a bounce from above that he had seen with his own eyes. The precarious sounds crawled over and I saw more thorns than roses. Now, I had to know that I'll wait for some time. But fire was over the other side, as a punishment. As someone whole Diamonds remembers, there was a betrayal. One betrayal that broke the guard Margaret met.

I cursed the day Margaret met them.

I break the glass that the sword had been hidden, mostly by evil pressure. Aaron could know why I did that. The glass shattered into multiple pieces, with the thorns aside them, and a drop of blood went down my hands. Now, I had to know the reason why this betrayal shook the castle, under their possession.

A warning was here. The rain had fallen.

"Aaron—" I said.

Someone screamed.

The scream was echoing into the gates, and someone screamed, sentences, multiple sentences—multiple sentences, just like that, at the top of their lungs. Horror could drown us while we hear the sound over, clasping onto the doors, under the stance of a sword. Lighting flashed over the rooms. A Diamond watched in horror as they saw the instance of someone being captured. Their face splashed with terror while the sword was drawn against the palm of someone's hand. Their eyes widened and they gasped for an answer. Eyes have darkened. Hands were trembling.
