"Hey JJ, you been outside?" My bestfriend asked. "I have polio, bro. I can't walk." I say in a sleepy voice. John B walks outside "That's not good." I got up and stood on the porch. "Agatha did some work, huh?" I say. "Yeah she did. John b replied. I walked to John B. "What are you thinking?" I say to him as he turned to look at me. "I'm thinking that storm surge pushed all the crabs out on the marsh." He says.
"What about DCS, wasn't that today?" I say. "Nah they're not getting on a ferry." John B said while cleaning stuff off the boat.
"Cmon thank that it, its god telling us to fish." John b said while holding up a branch with leaves on it. We hear a car pulled up I look over and see who it is.
"Who is it JJ?" John b said to me. "I don't know man, but let's go see." I short blonde hair girl walks out of her car. "It's just Hazel."
End of JJ'S POV. —
Hazel's POV.
I walked out of my car and walked over to JJ and John b. "Hey guys, how are you?" I say to them. "Never been better Cameron" the blonde boy say. "Johnny how about you?" "I'm alright, you?" John B says to me with a smile. "I'm good." I say with a smile on my face.

I sat on the edge of the boat with my legs hanging off the side, JJ standing next to John b as he was driving. "Well, look who we have here." JJ said in a funny voice. We drove up to Pope's dock. "We have a safety meeting. Attendance mandatory." JB said while pretending to speak into a microphone.
"I can't my pops got me on lockdown." Pope said while turning the hose off. "Cmon man!" I say to pope. "Your dads a pussy over." JJ added. "Oh, I heard that, you little basted!" Heyward said sounding pissed off. "Hello Mr Heyward" I say to him as I wave to him as he smile as wave back at me.
"We need your son." JB said. "Yeah and island rules day after hurricane is a free day." JJ added. "Y'all think I'm stupid?" Heyward asked. "I'll do it tomorrow, I promise." Pope said. "No, hell no, you doing it right now." Heyward replied. "Get in the boat." John b whispered.
"Yeah make a ran for it" JJ whispered after. "Boy if you get on that boat." Heyward said. Pope jumped on the boat. "Go, go,go!" Pope says. "Bring your ass back here." Heyward yelled. "I promise I'll do it tomorrow, dad." Pope says to his dad. "We will bring him back in one piece, we promise." I yelled.
"And I don't like your friends!" Heyward yelled.
We have arrived at Kiara's dock. "Oo, top on the morning to ya!" John B said to Kie. "Good morning boys and girls." Kie answered back in a cheerful tone. "Whatcha got?" pope asked. "You got juice boxes?" Pope added.
"You know just some yogurts and carrots sticks." Kie replied. "How about my kind of juice box?" JJ asked while taking her hand to help her to get on the boat. "Yeah." She said. Kie came over and sat next to me.
