"John Booker Routledge, pursuant to the North Carolina statute section 14, you are charged with murder in the first degree with aggravated circumstances. If convicted, the maximum sentence would be the death penalty." The Honor said.
JJ stands up. "Your Honor, he's 17. He's 17! Are you kidding me? Hey, John B, we're gonna figure it out." JJ said as Sarah try's to run up to John B. "John B! John B!" Sarah said sobbing.
"Stop! Don't touch her!" I say as I pull her to me as we walk out of the court room.
"Is this a joke? Like, are we in hell or..?" Kiara said. "I should have never come home." Sarah said.
"They're gonna kill him, guys. I know it." JJ said as I walk behind him.
"Sorry for what you and your family have gone through." This guy call Hugh said. "Thank God the system works." He said.
"Can you please shut up? Of course you think the system worked because it was made to protect you and people like you." Kiara said yelling at them.
"He'll have his day in court. A jury will decide." Hugh said. "He shouldn't even be in court! You should, 'cause you're a murderer. You have a lot of nerve showing up to court." Kiara said.
"I know you're upset. I understand you're upset, okay?" Ward said. "Upset?" Kiara said. "I know he's got you fooled. He's got you all fooled." Ward said as kiara try's to get ward.
"No, I'm not just upset!" Kiara yelling at ward. "Show some respect!" Ward said. "Why don't you take the Kooks down for a change? Shoupe." JJ said.
"You wanna get arrested? Get out! You need to go." Shoupe said. "This is bullshit." Kiara said. "Come on. Look, it's not worth it." Sarah said to kiara.
"It's not a coincidence that your daughter's sitting with us." Kiara said as walking out.

"I'm gonna testify under oath. Me and Hazel were there. I just need to get a hold of our sister." Sarah said. "Sister?" JJ said.
"Kie, do you have your phone?" Sarah asked Kie as Kie gives her phone to Sarah. "Wheezie is the only other person that knows Rafe wasn't home that day." Sarah said. "Wheezie?" JJ said.
"I don't know what else to do. I got us into this mess. I'm gonna do my best to get us out." Sarah said as she walked into the Chateau.
"Wheezie? Yeah, that will work. Well, she's right about one thing. We gotta do something." JJ said as I zoned out.
JJ walks out of the Chateau as rain poured down on to him as I stop zoning out as I run outside to jj.
"Jay!" I say as he turns around to look at me. "Go back inside Hazel." JJ said to me as he got on his bike.
"Where are you going?" I say as he drives away from me. "JJ!" I yelled.
"Fuck." I whispered as I go back inside.
As me and sarah started walking up the dock wheezie text us back saying to meet her at the Deachs Point as I put a thumbs up.
"Sarah." I say to her. "Yeah?" She said. "I think you should stay here okay." I say. "What?! Why?!" She asked.
"Well I'm older okay and I'm just wanna talk to wheezie okay? Just to make sure everything is okay at home." I say to sarah as she nods her head and hugs me as I hug her back.

"Wheezie?" Come on, wheeze." I say as I'm waiting for her. "Is that you?" I say as I walk to the other side. "Wheeze?"
"Nah, not Wheezie." Rafe said as i just looked at him. "Where the hell is Wheezie?" I say worried about my younger sister.
"Don't worry about it. Listen— Whoa. It's all good. I... I just... I just... i needed to talk to you, like, a little bit. Is that okay?" Rafe said as I backed up. "Don't come near me please." I say to him.
"Cause... 'cause what you do, Hazel, affects me, okay? You don't... you don't think of that, do you?" Rafe said. "You shot me, Rafe and Sarah." I say.
"That's it, right? It's.. it's always my fault, right? Like, uh... you know, I... I wanna keep what's mine, that I got by my work, and I'm the bad guy for trying to.. to hold on to it?" Rafe said.
"It's not yours." I say. "Like I'm wrong to protect what's mine, huh? Listen to me, okay? The cops are going to talk to you, and Sarah and... And i need to make sure the story's straight because—." Rafe said.
"You killed Peterkin. My story's straight. Listen to me, this would go so much better for you if you would—" I say.
"Who are trying to protect here? Huh? I'm trying to do the right thing." Rafe said. "You're trying to do the right thing? You doing the right thing— No, you're not listening to me. You doing the right thing is the reason that you got shot. Because you were following John B." Rafe said.
"John B might get the death penalty because of you!" I yelled at rafe. "That! That right there. That's.. that's exactly what I'm talking about, Hazel. You know?" Rafe said as he sits down.
"You've always been against me." Rafe said as I shake my head. "No. I haven't."
"Don't shake your head. And you still are. No, no, no, no. You're not just against me. You're... you're against us. We're your family, and you're against us." Rafe said.
Rafe gets up. "You know, Dad always takes Sarah side right? 'Cause she's gonna cry in front of him like she's cried in front of me. But you listen to me. I'm a proactive type of person, Hazel. And we have a problem, and I gotta solve that problem together." Rafe said.
"Do you understand? Do you understand?!" Rafe yells as I run. "Whoa, whoa, Hazel! Where you going, Hazel?" Rafe said as he run's after me.
"No, Rafe! Stop! Rafe, Rafe, stop! It's.. it's... it's Hazel. It's your sister. Please... please don't." I say as he pulls me against a bucket of water.
"What about me? Huh? You'd hav me me fry." Rafe said as he pull me under the water. "No!" I yelled.
I gasped as rafe pulls me out of the water. "You brought this on yourself. This is on you! Your decisions." Rafe said. "Rafe! Rafe! Rafe!" I say as he pulls me back under water.
"This is what you get, Hazel. This is what you get." Rafe said as I'm still under water.
"Hazel! Hazel!" I hard someone say my name. Someone picks me up from the water. "Hazel! Are you okay?" The person said as I recognise their voice it was Landon voice. "Come here. Come on. Are you okay?" Landon said as I coughed.
Landon starts punching Rafe in the face. "If you ever touch her again... if you ever touch her again, I'm gonna kill you. You got that? You got that, Rafe? He said as he push rafe in the face again.
Landon walks over to me. "Hazel, are you okay? Can you breathe?" He said as I hug him as he hug me back.
