"It's me. Look, I know this is impossible to you, and I'm gonna explain— " Ward said put I cut him off and slap him. "You're right. I'm sorry. I deserve that. I do. I know I do."
"You girls have been through hell, and that is my fault. And I'm sorry. I'm so—" ward said but me and Sarah back.
"I'm so sorry, girls. I can promise you two that I didn't have any other choice. I didn't. I don't expect you two to understand that now." Ward said.
"All I can do is tell you what happened, and I'll answer your questions. Maybe you'll two see it was only way. I know you two don't believe that, and I know it's hard to hear. But I—"
"It was my only choice. It was the only way to make sure that we were all safe and we were all together. It was the only way to be a family again." Ward said as he smile at us.

"I used the scuba gear on the Druthers. I had it all set up in advance, timed to the second. It was touch and go getting off. I almost didn't make it." Ward said as Rafe walks in.
"Oh for fuck sake." I mothered under my breath. "Girls, what i need you two to understand more than anything is that I never imagined that you two be there." Ward said as I rolled my eyes.
"I wanted to call you two immediately to tell you two that I was okay, to explain it all. It broke my heart that I couldn't. But I had to make sure Rafe got away." Ward said as Sarah looks up at him.
"What the fuck." I say. "Thank you, Dad. At least one of us is grateful." Rafe said. "That's psychopathic, both of you." Sarah said. "I promise Rafe that he wouldn't go to prison for helping me. I had to make good on that promise." Ward said.
"Not that you two care." Rafe said. "Did it look like we didn't care where we thought Dad was dead?" I say. "It looked like you two cared about running off with some assholes." Rafe said.
"It looked like all you cared about was the inheritance." I say. "Yes, you cared! You cared! That's the point! Anybody on that dock could see how much you two cared, girls." Ward said.
"And I know you girls angry right now and rightfully so. The important thing is that it's all behind us now. It is. We're gonna live a new life, all of us together." Ward said.
"Girls, where I'm taking you two, it's paradise. It's off this place called Gudeloupe. And oh, by the way. All those A's you two got in French are about to pay off, cause they speak French there." Ward said getting out some paper as sarah pushes it away.
"We want to call our friends, and we want to call our boyfriends. Can we at least just tell them that we're okay?" Sarah said.
"Yes, of course you can. As soon as we get there, you girls can call your boyfriends. They know you two are here, right?" Ward said. "No, they not." I say.
