I furrow my eyebrows. 'I couldn't save them, Alby, Zart, Chuck I couldn't save any of them and now I'm failing Minho'. He says sobbing. 'I'm a fuck up'. Tears form in my eyes listening to these words coming out of Tommy's mouth.

'You saved us Tommy, you got us out of there and maybe people died along the way but they would be proud of how far you have come.' He looks up at me with his sad puppy eyes, he just stares at me for a minute before he begins 'I can't stop seeing him Newt, everywhere I go I see Chuck screaming for my help but I can't save him'. 'Sometimes there is so many screams and they all sound the same they echo through my mind, I watched him take his last breath, and this he gave me'. He holds up the figurine Chuck gave Thomas before he died. 'I can't even keep my promise because his parents are gone'. He says with a guilty voice.

I listen to him in terror, fearing that Thomas is losing his mind. 'It's not your fault'. I say now crying with him. 'I can't save us Newt'. I freeze. 'You can Tommy you have done it once before you can do it again. You have to try for Chuck. For Alby'. I say holding him tight in my arms. We stay like that for a few minutes never wanting to let go of one another.

'Newt', He says quietly. 'Yeah', I mumble back. He pauses. 'I love you, you know'. This makes my heart skip a beat and I can feel heat rising up to my cheeks turning them a dark red. 'I love you too mate'. I say smiling.

'You know I would follow you anywhere from the moment you ran in the maze I knew you were special, and so does everyone else'. I say lovingly. He smiles.

So how about we stop sitting here feeling sorry for ourselves and lets go save Minho. Lets bring him home. Lets stop WCKD once and for all and get justice for everyone they have ever taken and killed. Now lets go clean up that hand.
