I'm Choi Haneul , I'm an attorney and I've been practicing ever since I completed my law school , currently 27 y/o .
I changed into my regular clothes and started preparing dinner . I heard the door open followed by a humming sound . " Let me love , let me love youuu..." he sang with his sweet voice as he came near and wrapped his arms around my waist from the back .
" Let me help you darling " he whispered in my ears and I could feel his breath on my neck . " Started with your flirting the minute you came in Park Jimin ?" I said as I kept the kettle on the burner .
"Flirting ? I really wanted to help my wife Haneul aa , you love to frame me always " he said as he took the milk and poured it into the kettle . Yes , my husband is none other than Park Jimin .
We've been friends ever since school days as our parents are business partners . We studied in the law school together too and passed out in the same batch . We decided to open a law firm of our own with both of us as the CEO's and we've been doing good for the past five years . However we didn't have any love interests since we put our full focus on our career and didn't have any time for finding love . I still remember the day 6 months back when our parents suggested us to get married .
6 months back :
Mr and Mrs Park along with Jimin gathered at my home and I sat with my parents . "So we discussed about this earlier , about Jimin and Haneul getting married , let's confirm things here " Mrs Park said and my parents nodded .
" Haneul and Jimina , don't think we are forcing you both to get married . Both of you'll are single and doesn't seem to get partners on your own , that's why we thought of this , what's your opinion on this ?" my dad asked leaving Jimin and me in confusion .
" I think Haneul and I need to discuss " Jimin said as he stood up and took me to my room .
" I'm sorry Haneul aa , I thought they were kidding as usual but I didn't expect them to get serious this time , I'll explain to them about our friendship don't worry " Jimin said holding my shoulders .
" Jimin you are not really dating anyone ?" I asked him and he nodded his head saying a no .
" Haneul aa , are you okay with this idea of us getting married ? Do you think you can share rest of your life with me ?" Jimin asked me looking straight into my eyes and I felt my heart beat crazier than ever .
Marrying Jimin didn't seem like a bad idea , I've known him for years and he does know me too . We've seen happiness and sadness together and we've always had huge respect for each other too , though he annoys me sometimes .
" We've been together always and we are business partners too , we can be life partners too if we try " I said smiling and Jimin smiled widely . " Thank you Haneul aa , I'll make sure you never regret your decision " Jimin said embracing me into his arms .
Present day:
Jimin still keeps his promise , we have been married for 2 months and he has always respected our boundaries . We put our maximum efforts in being good husband and wife to eachother even though we still don't have romantic feelings for eachother . He's been always clingy since schooldays so I have never stopped him from giving hugs or forehead kisses .
" Okay what about Mr. Yoon's case , is there any progress ?" I asked him and he shook his head . "There's more evidence against us now , it's gonna take more trials , I'll take care of that but" Jimin stopped in mid sentence and I turned towards him .
"What happened ? Do you need my help with that case ?" I asked him but he shook his head . "No Haneul aa , actually we have a new case to handle and you'll have to handle it on your own " Jimin said sighing .
