CHAPTER 9 - The Forgettable softie

The next morning, the sun came for his duty as usual as the moon finished her duty . Everyone was awake except for one boy who was still in his dreamland. It was Soobin. The alarm rang waking Soobin up . But he turned off the alarm and turned to the other side to continue his peaceful sleep .

He heard knocks on his door and grumbled in sleep . " Soobin hyung ! Soobin hyung are you awake ? Are you even alive ? " Kai screamed as he knocked the door . Soobin sat up in his bed and checked the time. His eyes widened as he quickly got off the bed .

He opened the door revealing a formally dressed Kai with his hands on his hips . " It's freaking 9.30 a.m and you are still sleeping? Haneul shi called you like 7 times since 7 a.m " Kai said and Soobin placed his hand over his nape to cover the embarassment.

" Thank you for waking me up Hueningkai, I'll be there in few minutes" Soobin said as he smiled awkwardly. " You're gonna see her alone dude , it's already time for me , All the best dude " Kai said teasing him as he walked away .

"Oh Hueningkai! " Soobin called his name out loud making Kai turn towards him in confusion.

"Best of luck " Soobin said simply giving a thumbs up and went inside his room. Hueningkai stood there stunned and blinked twice . " What was that ? " Kai thought and a smile creeped over his face unconsciously as he went downstairs.

Haneul was standing along with Yeonjun as she was explaining few matters regarding his meetings . " Oh I understand, you're explanation is too detailed! I'm not a child Attorney Choi " Yeonjun said annoyed as he took off the paper from Haneul's hands .

" Isn't explaining in detail is a good thing? So that you never have to see nor call me later Yeonjun shi , seems like you wanna have more conversations here ? " Haneul said smirking and Yeonjun rolled his eyes . " Whatever " Yeonjun muttered as he started walking towards the entrance .

" Yeonjun , take Hueningkai with you " I said loudly and he turned back with his poker face . " Why should I take him ? Ask Taehyun since he's also coming to the same place and also , they are roommates right ?" Yeonjun asked .

" I know that too , but Taehyun left early today that's why I'm asking you Mr. Yeonjun , can you please ?" I asked him in a little sarcastic tone .

"I hate being second choice for anyone , so goodbye Miss Haneul , hope I don't see you today " Yeonjun said scoffing and left the place . "Second choice ? That's the most stupid excuse I've heard Yeonjun , he really annoys me aaa my head " I said as I massaged my temples to relieve the pain .

I turned back and saw Kai standing there with a sad expression , hurt to be precise .

" He didn't hear anything right ?" I thought to myself as I stood their seeing him . "Soobin woke up finally , he'll be here in few minutes . And I'll leave to the Company now " Kai said as he gave me a forced smile . "Thank you for waking him up but how are you going there Kai ? Take my car instead " I said as I handed over him the keys but he denied .

" Haneul shi , I don't know the directions nor I know to drive a car properly . I'll take the cab don't worry , you should take Soobin with you later , bye then" Kai said as he smiled like the sunshine he is and went out .

" Aah I need to protect this guy " I thought to myself .

"Should I turn on some music ?" Soobin asked as he sat next to Haneul who was driving the car . "Oh you can hear music then ? I thought you were deaf since you didn't wake up from the alarm nor calls we made " Haneul said in a sarcastic tone and Soobin smiled awkwardly but wide enough to show his dimples .
