CHAPTER 40 - Still with You

It was a Saturday morning , Soobin and Hueningkai were seated on the sofa in the living room watching a Music show . Beomgyu walked down the stairs and waved at them as he walked to the door.

" Yah Beomgyu come here " Soobin called him out and Gyu went near them . " Can you spare 10 mins ? " Soobin asked and Beomgyu nodded .  

" Then speak with Kai before you leave , enough of you guys avoiding eachother all week . I'm not gonna ask anything , solve it on your own " Soobin made Beomgyu sit next to Kai and went to his room.

There was an awkward tension between them . Actually Beomgyu was acting normal , Kai was the one behaving differently . Beomgyu sensed it and decided to give him the space.

" Tell me what it is , I'm listening " Gyu said as he turned towards him . " Huh Hyung ... I'm .. I'm Sorry hyung " Kai said looking down .

" What are you sorry for ? You didn't do anything wrong " Gyu asked curiously . " You know that day , with Chanmi , actually I kinda felt .. " Kai stuttered .

" Jealous ? Are you jealous of me ? " Beomgyu asked calmly and Kai gulped .  " That is there too but it's not the main reason . You know I felt kinda bad for hanging out with your bestfriend without your knowledge . I hid it from you even after knowing she's your bestfriend , I felt sorry for making you disappointed " Kai admitted .

" Disappointed ? Why did you think I would think like that ? " Beomgyu asked looking at him.  " It's because that's what used to happen to me . You know I am introverted right , I would make one or 2 friends barely . And they would hang out leaving me alone always , I ended up being alone every year . And this time I myself did that to you , that's why I couldn't talk with you normally " Kai said looking down.

Beomgyu felt something in his heart , it was sadness . He was sorry for the youngest . It pained him thinking what all the younger boy has gone through during his teen days .

" Yah Hyuka , look at me " Gyu said making him face him .  " See , I didn't feel like that .Even if you get together , Chanmi will still be my bestfriend and you will still be my youngest brother , nothing is going to change . I appreciate your kind heart , but if you overthink like this you can never befriend anyone . Stop hurting yourself Hyuka , you deserve a lot more good things " Beomgyu said caressing Hyuka's hair .

" Can I hug you ? " Kai asked looking at him innocently . Beomgyu chuckled at it .  " Afcourse yess " Beomgyu spread his arms wide and embraced Kai in his arms .

Later in the afternoon : 

Taehyun was walking in the 4th floor of Choi Entertainment Building , where the practice rooms were present . " Excuse me where are the new trainees ? " Taehyun asked a staff and they showed him the way.

He could already hear the music playing and entered the door slowly . " Okay guys get ready for CALL CALL CALL ! Music cue ! " Hoshi said loudly as he turned on the music and came in the centre .
