9.Boyfriend!

"Don't tell me you played again!!" Amyra said angrily.

Jason trying to avoid her words " Oh come on..!! You are just assuming things"

"Then explain me about the bruises over your left hand" her question was terrifying for Jason.

In the end he had to speak the truth.

"Yeah I played. But not with my mates. It was me and my ball. I was little off the track yesterday"

" You better be careful during this treatment protocol. I cannot imagine seeing you get hurt" her eyes were filled with tears.

Jason rubbing his palms over her cheeks " I know that we have to go through this process until Ajay finds a solution. After that everything will be back to it's own place"

" Yeah..!!" Amyra pacified herself.
Dr. Vaibhav entered inside the deluxe ward " Am I intruding something??"

Amyra gets off from the chair and stands back of Jason.

"No sir. It's just that the doctor here was feeling sad about my leaving "
Jason makes fun to change the atmosphere.

"It's time for your discharge Jason.
Remember to follow-up with Amyra.
If you find any difficulties please feel free to reach us anytime. I hope you didn't had a tough time here" Vaibhav smiled.

" Off course not sir. I was assured with good hands"

Amyra packs his bag and caries it through the lobby.

There was a car parked in front the entrance waiting for Jason.

Amyra opens the car door and settles Jason inside the car.

She then gave a warm smile to the driver and waves goodbye.

"Welcome back Dr. Amyra!! From now on you'll be with us all day " Bella said in excitement.

Amyra smiles while Dr. Nick says " Well, you better not say that you liked being with Jason than spending time with us "

" She must have felt little upset on discharge of Jason " other nurse said.

" Am just worried that he won't start practicing right away as he reaches the team" when Amyra finishes her work Ayaan entered near the desk looking into a case report.

He hand overs the profile sheet to Rahul and said the details of the follow up regarding the patient.

They had a few exchange of words.
Rahul watched Amyra passing by the reception desk talking to Nick.

"Your chick is back !!" Rahul makes eye contact with with Ayaan and shows him Amyra through eye contact.

"Just go back to your work. Inform  Maya to meet the Chief along with Samarth " Ayaan went inside his cabin.

Amyra entered the room and talked " Sir I'm back to the department. Tell me the works that am alloted"

Ayaan remembered the incident which happened back then.
He acted like he didn't remember the comment he made back then.

"I have submitted the cases which must be evaluated once again to the reception desk. You and Nick work together in it. No need of assisting me for few days. If you find any difficulties inform me. I'll make adjustments"

She nodded her head and left the room.

Ayaan tilts his head back in the chair and gave a small sigh.

The days passed into months. Amyra was now more close with everyone in the hospital.

Everyone was very fond of her.

Especially for Ayaan. He checked every now and then for her presence.

Same was in case of Amyra.

Whenever they crossed each other's path both were either silent or end up in argument.

Ayaan liked this version of Amyra being happy, joyful and talkative. But what pissed him was her behavior with him.

She wasn't the same with him.

There was complete silence when he tried to speak matters other than work. Not only him, but also when other people talked her regarding her house or about her personal life.

"It's been a while since we had a dinner together. Let's all catch up tonight in our usual place. What do you say ? I'll inform others from my department to join" Maya said to nurses in the reception desk.

Bella replied " Yeah..I'll tell my people about it"

"It's fixed then. Tonight is the dinner meet" saying this Maya sent waving the staff.

At the restaurant,

The table was filled with people of all departments only the close one's.

Maya , Rahul,  Samarth, Ayaan, Bella , Nick and his girlfriend, two other nurses from Neurology and Cardiology.

"I think the invite was for the close ones. Didn't knew that Amyra wouldn't make it " Samarth asked looking at Maya who was pouring the water into the glass.

"She said she'll be joining us shortly. She needed permission to join it seems " Maya answered directly into Samarth's face.

"Maybe her boyfriend I guess. She must know that she's making someone to wait here for her" not he just he completed his words the restaurant door opened.

It was Amyra wearing a skinny blue jeans with a light pistachio crop top, hairs resting in a high ponytail.

She seemed like a model walking in a fashion show.

The look of her face giving a warm smile to everyone carried Ayaan to the end of her red lips.

She sat besides Nick and said " Sorry for keeping you all waiting"

"Am glad you could join us" Rahul said.

" It's your first time having dinner with us right?" Nick asked .
Amyra nodded.

"Hope we'll have more dinners in future together " Bella said.
The dinner was served. All chatting about stuffs other than work.

In between of the dinner Amyra was looking at Ayaan who was wearing a leather jacket over a white T shirt.

Indeed the look Ayaan had right now would make any woman to have her heart skip a beat.

At the end of dinner the drinks was served.

Amyra hesitated and denied the drinks.

"Do you have bad capacity of holding the drinks?" Ayaan asked her in concern when Nick's girlfriend forcing Amyra to have a drink.

"I don't drink "Amyra replied.
Maya choked herself while she heard it.

A message popped in Amyra's phone.
She replied back the text.

"Or is it your boyfriend who said you not to get drunk?" Samarth asked.

"What!! I don't have a boyfriend " Amyra said that a loud.
