Not again!!God why it should be this man again?

"You must watch your steps rather than phone. Keep that in mind" Ayaan said.

"Hmm...okay sir" saying this Amyra speeded up towards the main gate.

Okay sir !? That's it?? Ayaan felt as he was cut off from talking.

He saw her taking the sidewalk and thought of dropping her off to her place as it was alreadydark outside.

He slowed down the car to hospital limits and asked "You need a ride?"
" Thanks for the offer sir..but I can manage" She rejected the proposal with a different facial expression.

It was obvious that she was definitely denying it as he was her Superior doctor. "You think you'll reach safely this time?"

"I know sir it's not good to walk alone. But I am okay..."

She didn't even finish her sentence suddenly she received a call " Yeah, am I'll be there in few minutes "she spoke to the person in call and ended it.

"Sorry sir, but am in a bit hurry. I should get going. Good night sir "
"Okay then. Good night ".

She changed her way of speaking when she received that phone call. It was definitely a man on the other side if am sure of hearing him speak. She was polite while speaking to me and suddenly became tensed by that call.
Thoughts ran in Ayaan's mind until he reached home.

In home, he saw his sister sitting on the couch in the living area.

His mother on the other hand delivering a cup of coffee to his dad, Dr. Vaibhav who was busy in texting.
"Gosh!! Please pay attention to the surrounding people. Am sick this person and his new wife who always in his hands " Akshara says in anger.
Turning towards Ayaan " Do you need coffee?"

"No thanks mom " he stands back to his mother and hugs her. "What information do you need from me ? " she says.

"Definitely about the girl with whom you are trying to get him married off" Sara mocks at him.

"You better be quiet. Don't you have your project submission tomorrow?" he asks.

"I have submitted it before the time " Sara says proudly. They both start to have a quarrel.

Meanwhile Vaibhav gets distributed and shouts "Stop acting like kids. You are a grown up adults. Yet, fight like kids.
And what's this Akshara? You are just jealous of my phone. Naming it as my new wife. You know right, am always your partner."

Akshara gets blushed "stop saying those things in front of kids. And Ayaan you go wash up and come for dinner "

At the dining table the family of four kept speaking of their usual activities, in between these Vaibhav asked Ayaan "By the way, how's the work going with Amyra? Is she reaching your standards or not ?"

"Who's Amyra? Your girlfriend? No wonder you kept her in secret " Sara speaks in excitement.

Now Akshara became cautious. She focused on Ayaan's words carefully.

"No. She's my colleague. She's good in handling the kids. A thing bad about her is that she speaks less to me. But she completes her duties on time."

" So that bothers you. Her not speaking with you " Akshara laughs.

"Mom..what am saying is..in these days she spoke to me hardly ten words. She keeps her own boundaries"

"That's good for her "Vaibhav feels relaxed listening to him.

"You don't say that dad. You were the only person who talked to her and you both were smiling at the end."

"So you're implying that she didn't smile to you for which you are feeling disappointed"

"I didn't mean that way. Am saying that everyone in the hospital say she got her job through some internal sources. I am not sure whether it's true or not. And I don't even care about the rumors. It's just that don't want people to speak any ill about you ."

"Well there are few things about Amyra which should be confined to remain in dark. Better you don't ask her any question regarding her personal stuff. I'll just say that she's like a daughter to my close friend."

"Enough with the work talk . Finish your meal and go to bed" Akshara ordered.

Everyone finished their dinner and went to bed.

Ayaan while scrolling few things in his phone he remembered the incident in parking lot.
