14. THE EAGLES

''Took you long enough to come out'' Anna said while driving the car.

''I had few matters to settle down'' Amyra replied. ''With that guy?!'' Anna was little surprised. "Yeah..with Rahul..'' she said. " Why do everyone around him approach him to discuss their problems? huh" Anna questioned. 

'' When did you see others taking to him?'' Amyra asked. ''Don't forget whom I am. I do the background checking of all the person that I go through'' Anna answered. ''I know my dear... but right now my question is on your behaviour towards Dr. Rahul. Did you piss him off? '' Amyra was now being serious.

'' No I didn't. It's he, who wants to everything about my injuries. I mean..can't he just treat me without asking my past?! like seriously?'' Anna was frustuated.

''No, he's right!! I know that you can't reveal every bit of the details..but, at least talk to him properly. He's too good to have a little chat'' Amyra requested. ''Okay okay..don't be dramatic. I'll try to get along with him'' saying this Anna speeded up the engine.

In the RAW UNDERCOVER OPERATION building,                                                                                                       All the people around were busily working over the computer screens, few at the case reports of crimes, others handling the calls and  running all over the places. Officer Ajay entered with his subordinate officer Virat.

''Any lead on THE EAGLES?'' Virat asked. ''We are still at the same phase sir'' Edward said in dull sound who was standing in front the screen. ''Am really fed up with this people... Not even a single clue about their warehouse'' Virat spoke sadly.

'' We still have a month time. We have reached upto this level and now we cannot stop the hunt'' Ajay said looking into a list which Simran was arranging in her desk. 

Suddenly Gabriel, the Tech expert entered inside the room with his iPad '' Ajay.. you have to see this!!'' He stood in the middle and showed a video '' The recorder that was inserted to his car has started to work.

Paul is showing up tonight in THE HIGH TOWN PUB to make a deal''

'' Let's take him down tonight. What do you say?'' Edward said. '' We shall see the situation then make a move upon him'' Virat said. ''Now listen carefully....'' Ajay started to explain the plan and everyone were working as instructed.                                                                                                                       .............

THE HIGH TOWN PUB,

High DJ music playing, people dancing on the floor and the bartenders serving in the counter. Virat was sitting in the corner table and was having a sip of vodka.

Ajay was standing in the first floor and watching the people. ''It's time and he isn't here yet'' Virat said through his bluetooth chip.

''Criminals aren't punctual like others. We must have patience'' Ajay speaks with a smile. 

  '' Right now my patience level is coming down'' Edward said who was looking into the cameras of the pub from the RAW office.

''Let's go for a drink after this night. What do you all say?'' Gabriel asked.

'' Chief will screw up if he comes to know about this'' Virat said.

'' Guys..shh!! I see movements...He's here'' Gabriel alerted. '' Stay in position'' Ajay ordered. 

Paul, the current inherent of THE EAGLES PHARMA company entered inside the pub with four of his bodyguards and went inside a private room.

Virat moved from his place, following them and willingly bumped into a bartender girl. ''I am sorry!'' he held her dishes and attached a microchip.

The girl went inside the room and served their glasses. She was asked to stand near the door for further services.

Paul started to speak '' Look my terms are simple. You provide me the people for trails, I'll double your turnover in the market. And eventually, you'll be one of our members''

''What you are offering me is to hand over my company and people to you. You better know what you are asking Paul'' the other person said. 

''I know that speaking to you in words won't make you to sign the papers.So.. you better understand through this..'' Paul placed a gun over his face and added '' How about now? will you sign the papers ??''

The old guy stood up and said '' Don't forget Paul.It was me and your father who brought this company. And now you are threatening me?!!'' '' That's all are the past. Now shut your mouth and start signing.'' '' I refuse... Do whatever you wish!!'' the man said.

'' It's you who asked me this'' saying this one of Paul's bodyguard pulled the trigger. The bartender ran from the place. 

Meanwhile someone knocked the door, ''Hello...'' Virat punches the bodyguard's face. The fight begins. Paul moves out of the room along with the other bodyguards.

Ajay moves quickly towards the basement of the pub as guided by Edward and gets hold of one of Paul's men.

He let's Paul to escape with the two bodyguard on purpose.  He puts the man inside the van with the whole body tied up.

Ajay comes inside the private room to check upon Virat. Virat was lying on the couch with blood dripping from his nose.

The bodyguard had fallen unconscious on the ground.  ''We must head to the hospital..come on'' Ajay gave his hand to Virat. '' What about this guy?'' Virat asked. '' Let others take him off from here. Let's go!''

At the hospital,                                                                                                                                                                         ''Finishing your shift Dr. Maya ?'' Bella asked. '' Yeah. I should go and get some sleep'' Maya replied.

'' Can anyone help?'' Ajay shouted while caring Virat inside the EMERGENCY ROOM.

''What's the matter?'' Bella asked.

'' It's my friend. He's hurt'' Ajay said. ''Bring him inside. I'll call the ER doctor'' Bella said.

'' Let me handle the case'' Maya spoke.

''But, Dr.Maya you just finished you shift'' Bella said.

'' It's not a big deal. I can manage. Bring him inside'' saying this Maya entered the ER room.

She asked Virat to sit on the bed. She took the cotton swab and started wiping the blood.

''Did you guys fight with each other ?'' Maya asked.

''No, we didn't'' Ajay said.

'' I did't ask you!'' Maya gave a stare at Ajay.

Virat felt a little  confused by their interactions.

'' Hey, stop arguing. Focus on my wounds'' Virat said in a high volume.

'' Don't worry. My healing skills aren't that bad. Well, the wound won't affect your handsome face'' Maya gives a smile.

'' Handsome you say!! I like your talking skills..'' Words of Virat made Ajay a little irritated. Ajay clears his throat and says '' If your talking is done, we can move out ''.

'' One minute. I'll you some tablets to reduce the pain'' Maya gave the  medicines and said '' I'll get going then. If you feel any dizziness then contact me'' saying this she went out.

Virat looked at Ajay who was staring at Maya's back until she walked out from the hospital.

    '' Interesting!!'' Virat gave a wild gaze while looking at Ajay.

'' What!!''Ajay asked.

'' She suits you!!'' Virat said putting his hands over Ajay's shoulder.

''I guess I should ask the nurse to give you an injection'' Ajay replied.

'' Hurry up!! we must report to the Cheif'' Virat said looking at the clock in the hospital.
