**THIS CHAPTER STARTS OFF SO BAD IM SO SORRY. I'M JUST TRYING TO GET TO ORDER OF THE PHOENIX**
As the days turn more gloomy and cold, the spirits around Hogwarts grow more excited and bright. The Yule ball is just days away and Ginny and Daisy have two things to celebrate. The end of their detentions. Finally. As well as Daisy and William being an official couple for a whole month now! All the students are at Hogsmeade this weekend shopping for their dresses and suits. Some of the parents even came to help them. Even some muggle parents were allowed, just for today.
"Okay what do you guys think?" Hermione asks hesitantly, coming out from the dressing room.
"Oh darling that is gorgeous!" Mrs. Granger gushes.
"Hermione you look amazing!" Ginny compliments
"So pretty!" Luna says
Hermione then looks to Daisy knowing she will tell the truth, "You really do look stunning." Daisy agrees.
Hermione smiles and goes back in to change back into her jeans and long sleeve shirt. Then it's Ginny's turn.
Ginny walks out in a little green and pink dress, "oh you look so beautiful!" Mrs. Weasley practically cries.
"I love it!" Daisy tells her best friend.
"Yeah?" Ginny asks
"Definitely!" Daisy smiles "and I happen to know green is Neville's favorite color." Daisy smirks making Ginny go red and turn back around to change back into her clothes.
Once Ginny comes back out she practically pushes Daisy into the changing room, "your turn!"
"Oh," Daisy says not having planned on being part of the fashion show, "I'm okay."
"Oh come on let us see!" Mrs. Weasley begs. Daisy gives an uncomfortable smile but concedes and puts her dress on. Daisy stands in the fitting room for a moment, catching her breath. This whole day has been hard for her. Her friends parents all here and she doesn't have any. There has never been a day where she wanted her mother here more. She bites back the tears and steps out of the dressing room wearing a baby pink ball gown that has white flowering details draping down it.
"Oh Daisy that looks lovely dear!" Mrs. Weasley compliments
"Yeah the color really suits you." Ginny adds.
"Thank you." Daisy forces a smile and then turns to change.
After their parents all left, the girls make their way to the three broomsticks for some butterbeer and to meet up with the guys. They see Harry, Ron, Neville, William, and Trey have saved them all seats. Daisy sits between William and Harry and thanks William for her butterbeer.
"So did you ladies find your dresses?" William asks
"Yep." Hermione nods
"Just wait until you see Daisy's." Ginny wiggles her eyebrows at Daisy from across the table. Daisy kicks Ginny under the table making Ginny groan.
"How about you guys? Find your suits?" Daisy asks
"Didn't need to find one." Ron groans thinking about the hundred year old outfit his mother sent him. Everyone laughs at his expense and then fall into their own, easy conversations.
"So, Trey, have you asked Tessa to the ball yet?" Daisy asks her boyfriends best friend. He looks at her shocked as he's never mentioned liking the girl to anybody. "Oh come on! It's only days away!"
"How'd you even know?" Trey sputters out
"Because it's obvious." Daisy laughs "she's waiting for you to ask her."
