Chapter 9: A Little More Cameron, Please. (Kendall's p.o.v.)

a/n: Yes that's right. You read that right, it says Kendall's pov. Not Cameron or Logan, but Kendall. I hope you like. Enjoy! Vote, comment. You know the drill. ;)

-------------

I sat there on the bar stool watching Cameron cook. James kept hovering over her, and I could tell she was getting nervous and irritated. Carlos was even doing the same thing. What do they think, that just because there is a girl in the house they could go all crazy?

I got up and walked over to her. I didn't hover. I just stood near her, and watched. I didn't want James or Carlos hovering anymore. But soon after, one of them would go right back and start to hover again. So I went and sat back down. I think, I did this a couple of times. Though I am sure that she completely wants nothing to do with the three of us anymore.

When I noticed she was almost done with the food I got up to grab some bowls for the pasta, but James was already up and grabbing them. There is something going on in his mind and I wanna know. He can't go and call dibs on the new girl when one of us already does. Logan is going to freak if he finds out James is going all gaga on her. Hell, if he didn't have a thing for her, or whatever they have together I would be all over that. And James would have some competition. But, being the nice friend that I am, I'm not. And James shouldn't either.

After I grabbed some food, I went and sat back down were I have been sitting watching Cameron cook. What I didn't expect was for her to sit right next to me. But she did. And I'm not going to lie, but I kinda liked it. Though it was ruined when James sat next to her. Since Carlos didn't want to be left out, he grabbed the seat next to me.

"Hey, maybe I should go and give Logan some food?" Cameron said.

I was about to say something when I saw James' eyes go wide, and he spoke, "I wouldn't do that."

"I made you guys food, the least I can do is give him some too. And you can't tell me what to do." She said a little irritated.

"Yeah, but-" James started but stopped mid sentence, Cameron was glaring at him. Damn she's good at that. It's really creepy. It reminds me of Logan doing it. Maybe one of them learned it from the other. I mean, it seams as though the two of them have known each other for a long time. Maybe they were friends as kids?

"You can. " I told her. "But, how about you just wait till we are done first?" I asked. I wanted some more time with her. Get to know her more. Even if I have to do it with James and Carlos here.

We ended up talking a little bit. When I say 'we' I mean mostly them. Every time I wanted to ask her something or even just tell her something, I would chicken out. Or Carlos and James would say something. So, I mostly kept my mouth shut. I don't know what's going on. This is so weird. Yeah sure its happened before, but its been awhile since it has. Damn, I kinda sound like a girl right now. I thought, shaking my head.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her glance at the three of us individually with a thoughtful expression. Huh? What is she thinking about?

I watched her casually. I didn't want her to know I was watching. Or them to know I was watching her. Why? I really don't know, but I don't. She sat there thinking for a few minutes, slowing chewing. Then suddenly she set her fork down and leaned in towards James.  A second later, she sat back up, held a thoughtfully expression then leaned in towards me.

Did she just sniff me?

She sat back, picked up her fork and played around with her food not really eating it. I finished eating, but sat there staring off into space, still watching her every move. She finally finished and got up. James did also. I watched them collide into each other.
