"Girl really? You have a right to feel that way but you shouldn't have just left without telling you're man. If you would've told me that before hand I wouldn't have picked you up. You could've left with your man." Ari lectured to me while we were sitting in her dinning room.

"I know I messed up I shouldn't have done that,"

"Yea you shouldn't have you know that man loves you. You need to stop running and talk about it because it's gonna be a day when he's tired of you running all the time."

I listened throughly to her words that she was preaching to me about and she was right. I promised Aubrey that I would work on myself he does too and so far I'm the only one who isn't working on myself.

"Please girl, don't let other bitches get in between y'all's relationship. You trust him right?"

"Yes Ari of course I trust him," I was becoming teary eyed I really need to stop running away from problems and pushing him away.

"Well act like it! I don't want you to cry but your only hurting him and you by running away. Has he tried to contact you?"

"Yes he has... and he's mad at me I can tell just by these text." I unlock my phone passing it to Ari so she could read them.

"Girl I really can't believe you pulled some stuff like this, your first time meeting his mom and you want her to see that?"

"Ok ok I get it what do I do know Ari?"

"Well first off text him back and tell him to pick you up because you two need to talk."

I put my head back groaning.

"So you picked me up for nothing?" I questioned.

She nodded her head. "Yes Mariah basically, I have other shit to do. So are you gonna tell him to come?"

"Ugh can you text him for me? I don't even want to look at that text thread."

Ari shook her head texting on my phone.

"You really are a lot to deal with I don't see how he can put up with you,"

"Shut up! Don't do me." I silently mugged her.

She was finally done texting and pressed send.

"Ooop! He just read the message right now."

I closed my eyes praying there won't be an argument between us.

"Ari what did you say in the text?"

"Well..," She clears her throat. "I said this is Ari. She was scared to text you because she thinks you're mad at her. She told me what happened and I told her I'm on you're side on this one. Come pick her up so y'all can talk this out please I got somewhere to be."

My eyes finally opened shocked at what she texted him.

"Why would you say that Ari?"

"Because he needs to know the truth like you need to stop lying that's why you guys keep falling back to square one is you lying. Oh he's texting,"

Just calm down Aubrey will understand, right?

"What did he say?"

"He said I'm on my way there anyways. Here take your phone back I don't like being your narrator." She throws my phone and it falls into my lap.

"What are you doing today anyways?" I asked her.

"Don't be questioning me Mariah."

"Anyways, you spoken to Breah lately? Her phone been going to voicemail."
