Ch.28

Sun
It was Saturday and Peace was having some work out of the city.
Peace
'I will come back soon.' I said while hugging Sun tight and waved them a farewell.
Day
I really felt jealous when I saw Peace hugging Sun. I know I didn't own Sun or he wasn't even my husband but the thought of Itt hugging someone else was killing me. I calmed myself down with long breathes and approached Sun.
'Are u free today?' I asked.
Sun
'Hmm. The chefs have returned and I have done all my work.' I said while looking at Day.
Day
'Let's go to a nearby hill then. I didn't visit one since I came here.' I said.
Sun
'Sure. Let's go.' I said and nodded and went to inform the guard.
Day
We arrived at the bottom of the hill. Surprisingly Sun started climbing it. I looked at him bewildered.
Sun
'Looks like he doesn't know how to climb.' I chuckled and passed my hand towards him. 'Grab me and come with me. The height of hill is small and u won't get hurt.' I said.
Day
I smiled at him in embarrassment and clinged over him in a back hug.
Sun
I suddenly felt a warm breathe over my neck. My body shivered over it. I pulled myself together. 'Control urself, Sun.' I breath heavily and started climbing with him together. We reached the peak and he got off me. I released a deep breath and patted my heart while he was looking at the scenery from there.
Day
'It's beautiful. We really don't get to see this in city.' I said and looked at Sun.
Sun
'It's beautiful indeed.' I said while staring at Day continuously.
I pulled out some protein bars and shared some with Day. I started looking at the sky and the scene while munching.
Day
I thought to broke the peaceful silence and asked 'Do u like Peace?' Though embarrassed but yeah, I was jealous.
Sun
I chuckled and saw through Day's mind. 'Though he has confessed his feelings for me but I never felt the same for him. So I don't like him..... But yeah, I do have a lover.' I continued while looking at him.
Day
I felt uneasy after hearing that he has a lover already. I tried persuading myself that it's his life and he can do whatever he wants but a jealous me grabbed the grass in order to take out my anger.
Sun
I saw his actions. To agitate him more, I added. 'Won't u ask me who that person is.'
Day
I really didn't wanted to know more. I just wanted to stay in my delusions of Sun being single. But not to make him suspect more, I just nodded yes while looking down at ground.
Sun
I smiled and continued, 'Though I wouldn't be telling u the name since u didn't ask me first but let me tell u how he looks.' I looked towards him dazingly. 'He is the most handsome person in the whole world. He has got the softest heart and loves me a lot. His smile is charming and his touches are mesmerizing. I could get lost in his doe eyes and won't even complain a bit, this is how majestic he is.'
Day
'Is he?' I asked while playing around the grass while sulking.
Sun
'Hmm.' I said without averting my daze from him.
Day
I looked at him and he suddenly looked in front. I looked at scenery too making myself understand. 'It's Sun's life. No matter even if he is Itt, u can't control him.'
Sun
I was controlling my smile as I understood he was trying to distract himself from me. After some time, it was getting darker.
Day
'We should leave now.' I said and started climbing down.
Sun
'Will u be able to climb down alone?' I asked. He nodded and started going down.
I chuckled at his pettiness and went down quickly.
Day
The jealousy stirred in my body and gave me some super powers which even I didn't know. Just like climbing down the hill without his support. I climb down really well until the last rock. I was trying to put my hand somewhere when Sun grabbed it.
Sun
'Let me help u.' I said and grabbed his hand and pulled him. We suddenly came so close to each other that our lips were just inches apart. I could hear our heartbeats pumping loudly in that breezy winds.
Day
This was the first time our bodies brushed across each other. I couldn't help but continuously look at his eyes and lips. In addition, his long hair came all untied. I tucked his few hair strands back to his ear and pulled him more closer and leaned for a kiss when realization that he is just a lookalike of Itt and not Itt striked me and I pushed him away.
Sun
I got what he was thinking. After all we had known each other almost a decade. I tried calming the tense environment. 'It's fine. It was just a moment. U don't have to feel guilty or sad.' I said while patting his shoulder and leaded the way back to the car.
Day
I nodded and followed him. I started driving car. It was quite a silence over there. I couldn't understand how to start conversing again. We reached the orphanage, I smiled at him awkwardly and went to my room. 'He is just a lookalike. Just a lookalike. Just a lookalike. ' I started convincing myself. 'I will be just staying here for work and go as soon it is over.' I thought and went to take a shower.
Sun
As soon as he went, I took a long breathe and came out of the car. 'It was close.' I said and came back to my room to fresh up and started helping the chefs with the dinner.
Day
I came out of shower and sat on the chair looking at Itt's photo. 'If he has a lover already, why didn't he back off. The way he stated how majestic he is, why did he still went on for a kiss.' I took a long breathe. 'I should not think about this. Let me keep a distance from him for a while.' I thought and wiped my body and wore clothes.
Sun
Day came down and I saw Peace coming too. 'When did u came, Pea?' I asked.
Peace
'Just a few minutes ago.' I answered smiling at him. 'Day, come here. Let's have dinner.' I said to Day.
Day
I hummed and avoided making usual eye contact with Sun. I didn't glance or even look at him as usual. 'There is no way I am falling for a person who just looks like Itt and has some familiar habits like him.' I said while gulping the food down.
Sun
I could feel Day ignoring me after the tension built between us while we were on hills. I felt a little broken but could understand his situation too. The whole week went like that. He was either going out with Peace, spending time with kids or go back to his room. He didn't even accompany me to the markets as usual.
Day
It was Sunday and P'Peace had went to bring the things needed from the nearby town as listed by Sun. Sun was the only person he would listen to as far as I had seen. I used to get jealous but I controlled it somehow. As for Daniel, men sent by DGP had arrived and they had started their more stricter patrolling.
I was in my room resting when someone knocked door. I went to recieve it.
'Pop, what are u doing here?' I asked and lifted him up.
Pop
'Uncle Day, P'Sun and everyone are reading books in the porch. Will u join us, plsss!' I pleaded.
Day
He started playing with my collar. I chucked and affirmed a yes and went to the place where everyone were reading. I saw Sun reading as well. 'Itt would end up sleeping here.' I chuckled at my thought and sat down and took a book from the piles of books kept.
Sun
I saw Day coming. 'Pff. Plan succeeded.' I thought as I was the one who reminded the kids of Day's presence. Day had changed a lot. He was more friendlier to people than before. And all the grannies in the neighborhood and kids used to adore him. Some even introduced their daughters to him. I really wanted to slap the hell out of the flirty girls when Day had already told he is taken. Ahh, so much anger. I thought and started reading again.
Everyone including me had long left the world of reality and went inside the book when a kid called me.
Up(16 Yr teen)
'P'Sun. U should read this story. It's pretty interesting.' I said as I showed him my story book.
Sun
'Oh really. Can u tell me the synopsis in short.' I asked him softly while leaning towards Up.
Up
'Hmm. So basically it is about two lovers who met as one of the partner had kidnapped other partner's brother. Let's consider the person who kidnapped B and whose brother was kidnapped A. It is shown that it wasn't B's idea to do that but A ended up torturing B brutally. But eventually they fell in love with each other. Even if A was literally treating B like shit still B loved and stayed with him. Though A loved B but he didn't treat B pretty well. Soon A forgot about B and started torturing him the way he earlier did. B endured everything and stayed with A till he recovered his memory and they reconciled.'
Sun
'Though brutal, still the story sounded as if I had experienced one.' I thought. 'What happened next?' I asked Up in curiosity.
Up
'They got married but soon some enemies of A came and in the process of saving A, B got killed.' I said.
Sun
'Don't u think it's a pretty sad ending.' I asked Up while looking at him.
Up
'Though it seems sad but A deserved it. He is such a jerk.' I said. 'Not every story should have a happy ending but a satisfying one. And A had crossed all the limits P'Sun.' I exclaimed.
Sun
I got all silent and was about to say something when Day expressed his opinion.
Day
I was hearing all the conversations and the story seemed so like me and Itt. I felt uneasy when the kid said that the character should get a sad ending as they deserved.
I tried negotiating. 'And what if A improved his living way? Still he doesn't deserve a second chance?' I asked.
Up
I thought for a while and answered, 'I genuinely think that if A has improved and wants to treat B better, then he deserves a second chance. But still it is on B. If he says no then no, as A had caused enough damage to him.' I replied.
Sun
I had started regretting asking Up for synopsis. I tried diverting their attention. 'Look it's almost evening. Let me cook ur favorite dish today again.' I said to Up and he hummed while being happy. I looked towards Day and asked him 'Would u.... come and help me?'
Day
I calmed myself down. Though I wanted to stay away from Sun but I couldn't decline his request. I nodded in yes.
Sun
I smiled and went to the chefs to tell them to prepare the spices and paste needed.
I grabbed Day's hand and took him to the river side to catch fishes.
