Chapter 4

Prom was in a few weeks and I had gotten fitted for a suit since I volunteered to chaperone the event, but as it currently stood I was laying in bed next to Nori since I couldn't sleep, something was keeping me awake but I couldn't figure out what, that was until I heard an alarm going off "There here...." I thought getting up and grabbing Nori "What's going on?" She asked groggily "Them" is all I said but she understood me, we got up and didn't even bother checking Uzi's room since we knew she was the cause of the drones getting inside. Nori had been getting more clearer visions of the future and we saw the Uzi accidentally let's the trio inside after having a bit of a bonding moment with N, so we knew she'd be fine in a way. So I flew us to the evacuation area and set Nori down behind some containers and waited as people ran in I anticipated the fight more and more know all hell was about to break loose, until Doll ran in crying with Yeva and Yuri no where's to be found, but she was soon followed by J and V "Would you look at this, no where's to run now!" V cheered happily, I spread my wings and launched myself upwards before launching at J slamming into her knocking her away quickly turning my attention to V who still didn't realize what was going on. Swapping the my long blade I sliced her head off turning back to J who was now up again she looked at me dumbstruck "Y you!" She says shocked "What's wrong J? Look like you've seen a ghost" I say swapping to my gun and firing at her, she quickly moved out of the way so I spun on the spot slamming V with my wing knocking her away now and sending myself upwards to combat J, she lunged at me but I moved out of the way grabbing the back of her head crushing it and dropping her, I turned my attention back to V who was up and pissed but she would be easy to deal with given her straight forward fighting style, she lunged at me as well and again I simply side stepped her attack kicking her down into the ground, J had began to regenerate herself so I dropped down landing on her putting my foot on her throat before point blanking her with a missile destroying her entirely, I was about to go back to V only to see N tying her up and Uzi next to him, I kicked away what was left of J and started over to N "Uzi go to your mother!" I say passing her "He's on our side!" She says "NOW!" I snapped making her jump as I had never yelled at her before, she quietly made her way over to Nori who hugged her tightly, I grabbed N's shoulder spinning him around before punching him in the gut making him drop to his knees "Y/n, good to see your still alive" he says holding his gut "Shut up and get the hell out of my home, take this little bitch with you!" I barked. He slowly got to his feet again "Sorry" he says grabbing V and leaving back the way he came. Once they were gone I turned around to see the group looking at me I walked over to Nori and Uzi "Dad he's a traitor to the company like you! He spared my life and was coming to help!" Uzi says "I don't care what he's doing now, your not going near him again!" I say "But!" She says trying to protest "Enough! I'm your dad you will listen!" I snap making her drop the conversation and just nodded. I noticed Doll sitting against the container crying and her parents still no where's to be found "Oh no..." I thought "Nori take her home, I think we may be having a new guest at our house" I say. She nodded and took Uzi's hand leading her home I walked over to Doll and knelt down picking Doll up, I didn't need her to say anything I knew Yeva and Yuri were gone "It's okay Doll, we'll look after you" I say softly. I carried her back to our place and found Nori pacing around and Uzi no where's to be found "She locked herself in her room?" I asked "Yep, she pretty upset at you yelling at her" she says "I know, I'll apologize here in a bit. But someone is living with us now" I say making Noris heart drop "No...." She says dropping to the ground "I'm sorry dear" I say carrying Doll to the couch setting her down before picking Nori up and setting her next to me on the couch as well. Not much was said between us for the rest of the night but once we all decided to head to bed Doll wanted to sleep with us not wanting to be alone, so I let her sleep where I normally would while I went to apologize to Uzi for snapping at her, I got to her door and knocked on it given it was still locked but I didn't get an answer, I shook my head and picked her lock opening the door to find her exactly where I figured she'd be the corner of her room sitting on the floor curled in a ball "Hey Uzi..." I say walking over and kneeling down beside her "I'm sorry" she says "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you, I was just worked up and worried about your safety. It's no excuse for my actions" I say putting an arm around her "So your not mad at me for letting them in?" She asked "I'm not mad just disappointed, I told you how many times not to go outside cause this is what I was afraid of" I say "Do you still love me?" She asked. I pulled her into a hug and held her tightly "Of course I do Uzi! Never think otherwise! There is nothing you could ever do or say that would even make me stop loving you, your my daughter and nothing will ever change that!" I say, I felt her arms wrap around me and grip my jacket "Come on princess lets get to bed, your not going to school tomorrow" I say picking her up "Can you stay here with me tonight?" She asked "Yeah, sure" I say as she climbed into bed, I hooked myself to the ceiling and hung upside down. Uzi got out of bed and walked over to me "Yes Uzi?" I say confused "Pick me up" she says "Okay?" I say confused, I grabbed her and spun her around so she was upside down and held onto her "Thanks dad" she says wrapping her arms around me, I smiled and drifted off to sleep holding as if she was little again.
