"Yes! I will be right there!" Porsche chirped as he attended to yet another customer. The cool breeze from the sea hit his face and he felt as fresh as ever.
He had worked day and night to get this place up and going. His own bar, besides the beach. It was a dream come true and he earned good money. Tourists would crowd his place by evening and he enjoyed working because of them. He hasn't hired many helpers since he had just started so he would serve and tend to the bar often. Yok visited his bar here and there but didn't stay there permanently despite Porsche's protests.

It was all getting back to normal slowly and gradually. Yes, there was a void and Porsche felt it time and again but he let his work consume him. He had cut ties with the mafia family and most acquaintances. He won't lie the peace and normalcy that came by staying far from them was great. He would occasionally meet Kim through Chay but Kim had the decency to not butt in. Kim was a man of his words too, he never let Porsche's updated or news reach the family. At least not through him.

Porsche really respected Kim for that. It was also a major reason why he was at ease with Chay dating such a man, despite his background.

The bar is slowly filling up as the sun sets. Porsche has started making orders while his friend helps with serving. They work well together and most things have become normal routine so it is not a big deal. Things do get hectic but they manage.

"Porsche?"
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Someone out there is asking for you."
"Oh? Who is it?"
"I don't know. Never seen him."
"Alright take over this order, I'll be right back."

Porsche hands over his stuff, wipes his hands and walks out.

"How may I help-" He stops midway. He hasn't seen this man for so long. He hasn't even tried contacting.

"Porsche." This man's words echo in Porsche's ears. It's like his voice filters inside, blurring the bar's noises.

"What're you doing here?" He asks the man.

"I really missed you!" Pete chirps with excitement, heading for a hug. Porsche reciprocates back and they both embrace each other.

"It's been so long! Did you forget your friend?"
"Absolutely not! How could I ever forget you?"

"I'm sorry I didn't reach out either. I really wanted to be there for you, trust me I did. But things became so complicated back home. Vegas immediately took me off to Korea and then when we were back it was really tiring-"

"Pete. It's alright. Don't worry about it, okay?"

Porsche hugged the petite man again and they both chatted the whole night long.
