Chapter 3
I pull up to the school finding a spot to park at and was looking for Alyssa or Merissa, while trying to lock my car when i bumbed into something and fell to the ground dropping everything as i fall
"Oh shit" i screetched in pain as the blacktop scraped my skin, thank god no blood otherwise i would have had to go to the nurse.
"Oh i am so sorry i didn't see you there, are you okay" the boy said, oh crap i didn't hit something i hit someone.
"Yeah i am fine just scratched my hand" i said, he lifted me off the ground and picked up all my stuff in a swift movement.
"You aren't bleeding are you?" he asked i shock my head no, he sighed in relief.
"Um are you new?" i asked him he looked at me and he made me shiver his eyes struck me on how icy blue they looked i looked down not wanting him to see me staring at him like i was some kind of animal.
"Yeah just moved here last week just been busy unpacking, I'm Nathan by the way" he said.
i smiled, "I'm Brittany" i said, "Oh i am sorry"i said a little embarrassed, "it's ok" he said handing my stuff.
i locked my car, "Well i am going to find my friend um, if you need any help just come and ask" i said and waved by and was nearly tackled and fell to the ground if it weren't for Nathan to catch me.
"Woah there" he said balancing me after Alyssa was off of me.
"jessh Alyssa, you excited there?" i said making it come out to a question.
"Yeah did you now there was a seriously new hot.." she trailed off when she seen Nathan standing there
"Umm hi" she said and going red from being embaressed.
"Hi" he said back polietly
"Oh how could i be so rude, Nathan this is my best friend Alyssa, Alyssa this is Nathan" i said laughing a little.
"You weren't being rude Brittany, you were just being your totaly normal self, which is a blond' Alyssa said laughing, i flinched at he word which, even though they were different meanings it still felt odd.
"Hello earth to Brittany are you there?" Alyssa said waving a hand in my face.
"Are you sure she didn't hit her head?" Alyssa asked
"No she said she just scraped her hands, and that she was fine" Nathan said worridly.
"Sorry i was just thinking, anyways-"i hunched over in pain and screamed and muffled it by my hand so no one could hear me and had one hand over my stomach.
"Brittany!" Alyssa screamed
"I'm fine i think i had some syrup with my brreakfast" i said comeing back up with tears in my eyes.
i looked back over to find Nathan with pain in his eyes, "Nathan are you okay?" i asked him he nodded his head and turned around and walked away.
"Well that was weird" i said rubbing my stomach, and walking with Alyssa into school
Later that day at lunch me and Alyssa were sitting there when Merissa came into the room with Nathan's arm looped threw her arm, i glared at her
"Brittany what's wrong?" Alyssa asked with worry in her voice.
"Nothing but i think Merissa is already over her boyfriend, oh and may i remind you it has only been one day" i said while we both started laughing.
"may i ask why you to are laughing?" Merissa said standing there with Nathan behind her looking bored as hell.
"Nothing that you would find intresting" we said she looked at us for a second before carrying on
"Oh well anyways, this is Nathan and i hope you find room becuase he is sitting with us" she said i growled a little, but only for me to heat but i swear Nathan heard it becuase when i let it escape he looked at me funny.
"We know him already" i said looking at Merissa, "Oh really how did you find out about him?" she asked
"I accidentaly bumped into him and fell to the ground" i said looking at her evily she looked at me like i was crazy, "Oh, well anyways Nathan let's go eat" she said but when she walked away he just stood there, "Um i think i will just sit here not very hungry" he said sitting down next to me, i smiled and looked at Merissa and she stalked off all pissyified.
"I never thought i would get away from her" he said i looked over at him to make sure i heard him right and then looked at Alyssa and she was shocked to.
"What i thoguht you liked her the way you follow her" I said, "Oh that, um she like hooked on me and wouldn't let go and to be nice i just let her" he said looking at me, "Oh" i said quietly.
I threw away my trash and was getting ready to leave when Merissa pulled me into the next room
"Oww, damn it Merrissa what the hell is your problem, let me go" i yelled at her
"Shut up you freak" she said i looked at agast, "Um did you really just say that" i looked at her and she crossed her arms.
"Just shut up! I have something to tell you, if you don't stay away from Nathan so help me i will kill you" she said threw clenched teeth.
"Oh really and how the hell are you going to do that?" i said crossing my arms.
"I have my ways, and i have people" she said smiling at me.
i laughed, "Really don't you mean by being a slut and sleeping with all the jocks and making them beat me up becuase if you do atleast i will die laughing my ass off!" i said laughing more.
"Shut up, you, you b*tch!" she screamed.
I stared at her, "You can't make me stay away from him, what if he likes me? What you gonna do about that one?" i asked her and was walking by her she grabbed my wrist and slapped me across the face making my mouth bleed.
"Stay away from him period" she said i looked up at her and sneered and she slapped me across my face again.
i had tears running down my face as i walked out of the room and ran right into Nathan and almost fell on my ass again but he caught me, i looked up at him and he seen my face and my tears running down my face and i swear i seen pain flash across his face.
I took off running to embarrassed by what he had just seen but some how he caught up to me
"Brittany what happend?" he said pulling me to look at him.
"Merissa" was all i could say before i burst into tears.
he held me till i stopped crying, "She told me to stay away from you, i need to go" i said pulling out of his grasp, but he held on to me
i heard a gasp and looked to see Merissa standing there.
"I guess i am going to have to do a lot worse than slapping you twice now aren't I" she said.
and i blacked out.
