𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟑

Rain pattered outside while Hyunjin found himself standing at the staircase leading inside JYP High without an umbrella or something to cover his head with, he stared up at the sky and watched the water fall down and meet the ground, his eyes then fell on the road as he watched the little bodies of water puddle together and splashing each time rain fell over them. he liked it; rain, even now when he knew he would have to either run toward the parking lot and drive his motorcycle in this cold and get sick or just have to wait for Lord knows how long for the rain to stop

even now when it caused him inconvenience he didn't mind the rain, it brought him a lingering piece of tranquility which was insanely hard for him to achieve so he grasped onto the little he could get and breathed in the air that smelled so wonderfully beautiful. but soon enough his peace was disturbed by the giggles of a familiar blond and even with his eyes closed Hyunjin could recognize this laugh anywhere and it fueled anger in his veins as he gritted his teeth and tried to ignore the annoying sound

"Jungkook stop!"

the voice of his rival shouted as he and his boyfriend ran into the rain with large smiles on their faces, not having noticed Hyunjin or his dark presence at all, arms around one another they twirled in the rain with giggles overpowering the sounds of the rain. Watching them Hyunjin chuckled humorlessly, how pathetic--he thought to himself. to him, they looked pathetic and foolish even if he loved rain he would never be idiotic enough to behave in such a manner, they were dancing and jumping around splashing water everywhere and it was surely getting on Hyunjin's nerves before he let his mind off to wander

why are they acting like children?

"Kook, I can't afford to get sick I have dance practice" Felix whined when the tattooed male pulled him closer to himself and wrapped his arms around the blond's waist, leaning in the peck his nose the boy whispered "God, you never know how to have fun huh? dance, dance, dance. is that all my baby thinks about?" Jungkook's voice was silky as Felix giggled slightly, resting his head on the other's shoulder and closing his eyes feeling the droplets of rain against his soft and pale skin

"It's my passion, how can I not?"

he questioned Jungkook who clicked his tongue "I want to be an idol too, I want to perform and be on that big stage you know, still I can have fun while having my dreams held high" the brunette scolded making Felix scoff out of annoyance, he was tired of everyone constantly telling him to 'relax' and 'just chill' it was too infuriating, why was dreaming with fervor looked down upon? "Life's too short, lix-ya, we're young so let's take advantage of that" Jungkook pressed a warm kiss against the blond's exposed jaw before he leaned closer to his lips 

connecting their lips Felix removed his head from Jungkook's shoulder and wrapped his arms around his neck instead, kissing his boyfriend better before he pulled away and sighed deeply, looking into Jungkook's eyes who pushed away the stray strands that fell before his eyes "I know, enjoy your youth is what they all say right?" Felix begins speaking and Jungkook could smell something foul from a distance, he sighed not in the mood for another bitter argument 

"But let me tell you, Kook-ya, I am enjoying my youth. to you, fun is partying and going around with friends, and to be fair, I like that too, hanging out with you and our friends but what I like better than that is my dream"

Jungkook's soft smile fell as he watched his boyfriend's squinted eyes, trying to make sense of his words "You like your dreams better than me?" it was obvious since day one, it has been very clear that Felix will never put anyone above his dreams and Jungkook knew that too, he just never expected the blond to say it out at his face so blatantly "I do, but I love you too" Felix smiled brightly and leaned in to kiss Jungkook, the boy was startled surely but he kissed back nevertheless, not having it in him to deny such pleasure of Felix's soft and sweet lips
