Cumulus just hit 9 months, you where panicking for the fact her water could break soon. Cumulus hugged you tightly , her tail wagged rapidly as she rested her head against you. She looked down at her stomach that carried your unborn child within. " im honestly quite nervous about having to give birth to this child... this is my first pregnancy and i have been getting lots of pains and cramps. " she said as she looked up at you with her beautiful grey eyes. Cumulus was so much shorter than you and she looked tiny in comparison to your height but she was so very thankful to have someone like you to comfort her during these times.

You softly placed kisses on her stomach, "do you think the baby will be born soon" you whispered. " i cant lie to you darling I've been experiencing a lot of cramps , and even sharp pains in my stomach so i feel like they will be born soon." cumulus replied to you with slight concern in her voice. " ive experienced a very healthy pregnancy , no problems with the baby so I promise its healthy." She said as she lifted your head with her hands and kissed your forehead. She hugged you tight as a loud growl was heard from her , and she clutched her stomach tightly as she let out a small scream and a tear fell down her cheek.

You started to panic, "do-o we need to go to the hospital" you said as you grabbed the hospital bag. " oh god i think we do.. " she said as another painful contraction swept through her body. " that really hurt.. " she said as tears ran down her cheeks. Cumulus felt incredibly sick , her stomach was in so much pain and her breathing was shallow and she was sweating quite a bit.

You quickly grabbed your car keys and helped cumulus to the car, you set her into the car and jumped into the driver door. " im in so much pain! " cumulus exclaimed as she curled into a ball. Her pain just got worse and worse as her stomach continued to cramp at her. The contractions became more painful and more frequent as cumulus' eyes filled with tears.

"I know I know!" You said as you hit the gas, "shh it will be okay, I'm here" you said as you sped down the road. Cumulus let out a loud growl and she covered her mouth with her right hand as she closed her eyes tightly. She was in so much pain and she just wanted it to be over and for the pain to go away. Cumulus didn't even notice you driving as she was too busy focusing on getting through the pain and getting through this pregnancy. She hoped with everything in her that this baby would be born healthy and as you drove faster and faster to the hospital she could feel that her contractions were becoming a lot more painful.

You quickly pulled into the hospital and parked. You grabbed cumulus and ran into the hospital. " ahh ohh... it hurts so bad! " cumulus said as she clutched her stomach tightly. She was in so much agony and she wanted the baby to be born so that she could stop this pain. She felt so incredibly sick as she threw up a little on her dress. " this is so embarrassing " she sighed , her voice was soft filled with pain and she felt very light headed. " ahh I'm so light headed.. " she exclaimed as she started to look incredibly pale . She looked like she was going to faint at any second.

It was a few hours later, you set your head in cumulus bed and softly cried to yourself. "P-please don't be hurt..." you said as your voice cracked. You knew you baby was okay, but not her. Cumulus woke up to find you sitting in her bed crying . She felt terrible that you felt so sad and that she was making you scared. " im fine love! " she said with slight concern in her voice " don't cry , we can get through this together." She had a small smile on her face and she looked at you wanting to cheer you up in any way possible. " you shouldn't be crying right now , it should be a special moment for both of us. This is something we can never do again in our lives , we are so lucky! " she explained with enthusiasm in her voice.

You quickly sat up and sat on the bed, "baby, I would hug you.. hug I can't.. you know because if you had to have a c-section.." you whispered. " its okay darling, we can hug later. I want to get out of this bed , I don't want to sit out this important moment with you. " cumulus said with a reassuring smile on her face. " can't wait to meet our little baby " she exclaimed with a hint of enthusiasm in her voice. She was so very excited to go home and begin her life with her love , especially now that a baby was on the way.
