Cumulus hit the 8month mark of her pregnancy, you where scared but you keep it to yourself. Cumulus was starting to feel the effects of her pregnancy much more intensely and the closer she got to the due date the more anxious she became. Cumulus decided to talk to you about her worries regarding giving birth. " demon king...im a little worried about the birth...im not ready to bring our little ghoul into the world yet...what if something bad happens? What if i do something wrong?" She asked with a fearful tone.
"Baby we still have one month.. and Mel birth was easy.. okay.. you got that...?" You smiled weak as you tried to comfort cumulus. " but what about all of the scary birth stories? And the birthing videos i watched where all so stressful and scary! What if that happens to me? What if i make a mistake? Am i ready for this? Am i doing enough for you and for our baby? " she questioned as tears began to well in her eyes. She was starting to feel a deep sense of panic as she thought about birth and her fears for it. She had heard so many bad things about it and her emotions where starting to overwhelm her.
"Remember you felt the same way with mel.. but how easy it was.. and don't watch those videos.. okay.. and you did amazing with Mel and still are, so it will be easy" you smiled soft as you kissed cumulus jaw. " your right.. i guess im so close to the due date and its made my anxiety so much stronger then when i was pregnant with mel... and i know that when its time i will step up and do what i need to do for you and for our baby. Dont worry demon king, i promise i will do my absolute best." Cumulus wiped away at her tears as she spoke. " your so sweet and supportive, thank you for always calming me down and easing my worries. "" you are my beautiful and very very attractive wife!" You smiled, "are you ready for the doctors appointment at 5!" You pet the top of cumulus head.
" oh! Of course! I should probably start getting ready shouldnt i?..i wouldnt want to keep our doctors waiting now would i? " she said with a smile as she rubbed her stomach, gently caressing over the tiny little kicks that where happening in her belly. " I wonder how big our little baby is now.. " she sighed softly as she thought about how close she was to meeting her little bundle of joy. "You look good enough now! How about we head to the hospital wing now for your check up!" You smiled wide.
" aww your so sweet and also the best husband i could have ever dreamed of having! And your right! Ill get my jacket and we can be headed on a trip to the hospital. I do hope everything is ok, i dont think you should worry but im just such a worrier myself. " cumulus said with a slight nervous laugh. As she stood she let out a light groan as her back and hips were rather tender due to her being in her third trimester. It was 5:15pm and you and cumulus where waiting at the doctors, "he will be in soon" you said as you tried to calm your angry scared wife. Cumulus was clearly trying to keep her anxious and fearful thoughts to herself but it was very apparent by the way she was fidgeting around in her seat. She was clearly trying to calm herself. " i know, im sorry im like this... its just all been very stressful. Dont you worry about me darling, ill be fine. Im just worried about our little babe. I just want to make sure that everything is alright with them... what if somethings wrong? " she rambled nervously as she waited for the doctor to enter the room.
The doctor walked into the room, "Mrs. Cumulus and Mrs. Willow?" The doctor asked. Cumulus let out a loud sound of surprise and shock but after her shock she looked at you with a smile before she turned to the doctor. " they may be arriving soon?? Oh my, that is not what i had expected to hear! Oh dear we are not ready yet! " she said whilst letting out another nervous chuckle. " im glad that they are healthy though! That is all that matters the most. How early are they saying that they will come? "
" we're having twins! Twins! Oh my...i mean, two little sweet ghouls to enjoy is going to be so much fun! Im just a little nervous, one is overwhelming enough...but two? Do you have any idea when they will arrive? " she asked the doctor as she looked back to you as if to ask for your help and comfort. " the due date would probably would be around October twenty first to the twenty seventh" the doctor smiled.
" oh! So a little over a month then...thats sooner than i expected, i guess we should probably start preparing a lot sooner then i thought. " she said nervously as she looked to you for comfort. " its going to be so much fun having two little ghouls running around in our house but im also a little nervous as i know birth will be more difficult now that i am having to birth two, but anything to bring our little babies into this world right? "" you could have a C- section if you don't wanna give birth" the doctor explained.
" i was thinking about opting for c sections but im not so sure...the idea of surgery and going under scares me but i also dont want to tear everything... " cumulus let out a sigh of worry as she thought about the possibilities. " i honestly think i will give birth naturally, i think i just need to remain calm during and im sure im strong enough to push through it right? " she asked the doctor whilst she stared down at her stomach with her hands resting gently over her bump, her fingers rubbing circles into the surface. " well we will sew anything up and make sure your safe" the doctor smiled.
" alright, if thats the case then thats settled. I will give birth naturally to our two little sweet ghouls. " cumulus smiled as she looked to you. " you see? I dont need to worry about surgery. Just have to wait a little longer, hopefully the little ghouls dont come too early but i dont know what to expect with twins. " she said as her body tensed slightly and her nerves began to creep back. " in this situation I would recommend you doing a C- section but if you wanna do a natural birth, we will make sure that everything goes perfect!" The doctor smiled.
" I think right now we should wait and see what would be the better option.." the doctor explained, " ok.. i agree. " cumulus said as her hands remained resting over the small bump that was gently growing on her tummy, the kick's increasing with strength as she grew more and more. " i should be doing pregnancy exercises right? " she asked the doctor, hoping to get a bit of advice.
"No. Do not do that because how close you are way to close to your due date, I don't like that idea" the doctor explained his concerns. " ok, i will just avoid it if thats the better option. " cumulus said before she looked back to you. " i do trust the doctor but i can't help but feel a little nervous. " she admitted.
" all mothers do, all you need to do is sleep and rest, that means no chores, cooking, etc. it would be better if Mrs. Willow does that stuff for you" the doctor explained. " yes that sounds like a good idea. " cumulus nodded softly as the words the doctor spoke made complete sense to her. " i guess i will just have to relax and wait it out then, i will continue to rest and do as little as possible. "
" i think ive asked all of my questions i had. " cumulus replied with a kind and warm smile as she brushed her fingers through her hair, trying not to think about what she was currently going through. She just wanted to remain calm and to keep her nerves in check, it was a lot easier said than done because her thoughts where all over the place. She was so incredibly grateful that she had you to support her and to help bring her back to earth. " well, if that's all you need, your free to go!" The doctor smiled. " alright, thank you so much for helping us and for providing us with the best care possible. Im so grateful to have found you. " she replied as she tried to keep down her emotions. " this will all be worth it, i know it will be. Just so many nervous thoughts going all through my mind right now. " cumulus sighed as she looked to the doctor. " thank you again! " she smiled at the doctor as she and her husband stood up to begin leaving the office.
