At the principal's office....
"Therese and Johnny, you have caught the attention of the teachers and students in a bad way. You took the concentration of some of them. For that, you will spend your free time and another extra hour picking up the dry leaves and flowers at the school's garden using either your hands or these sticks only. You still have 20 minutes before detention. Go to your classroom and give this permit to Ms. Thompson." Mr. Erickson said.
'Now what?! I'm stuck with the freakin' Johnny, I'm going spend my free time cleaning that wide n' dirty garden and I need to rush to my classroom to give the permit to Ms. Thompson and start cleaning 20 minutes. How freakin' nice!' Therese thought to herself.
At the school garden...
Therese's and Johnny's backs are hurting already. Its been 30 minutes of picking up those dry leaves with only a piece of stick and their progress is not even reaching it's half.
"What if we change our strategy? Let's use the sticks to sweep the leaves then pick it up with our hands." Johnny said.
"kay" Therese said not looking at Johnny.
Johnny's plan helped a lot in cleaning the garden but Therese still smells something fishy. Soon detention time was over.
"Johnny, what's with you? Why are you cooperating with me?" Therese asked
"Didn't you see Mr. Erickson observing a while ago?? Of course I don't wanna be stuck here and miss the tryouts for varsity. Don't tell me that you're hoping me to be your friend. Well sorry, I don't like nerds like you." Johnny said.
"What the world?! Now you're calling me a nerd? I may be the running valedictorian but that's not enough reason for you to call me a nerd. If that is your definition of nerd then you should also call yourself a nerd. You're in the honor roll, right? I can't even imagine why you were included there. You have no such manners Johnny jerk! If you excuse me I have some things to attend to." Therese walked out of that freakin' garden. Johnny was left with a wide opened mouth.
At Starbucks...
" I can't believe you said that to my twin's freakin' face" Sharmaine said then took a sip at her choco frap.
" Yeah sista that takes a lot of pride-ruining pride" ,Bea agreed. "So what's the plan now?"
" I'm not so sure yet. Can you help me think of a plan?" ,Therese said. "What happened to Ella and Nikki? It's been like 15 minutes since they go in the restroom"
"Hey gals, I'm thinking if we could have a little celebration since we had a very successful first week of school. Would you mind if we have a little sleepover?" Nikki said as she take the seat next to Sharmaine.
"What happened in there?" Therese asked Nikki
"Sorry guys. I got some girly emergency. It's my day." Nikki answered
"How about Ella? What happened to her?" Therese asked again
"Ella is talking to some girl. You know she was chosen to be a candidate for campus president." ,Nikki "Anyways, what do ya gals think of the slumber party."
Therese, Bea and Sharmaine look at each other for a moment.
"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Sharmaine said. The girls grinned. "Let's do it at my house. It's Saturday tomorrow. We can have it tomorrow."
