Both Izuku and Shoko stepped onto the stage, each staring into each other's eyes.
"BOTH CONTESTANTS HAVE BEEN SCORING HIGH FROM THE START, BUT ONLY ONE CAN PREVAIL. IT'S SHOKO TODOROKI VS IZUKU MIDORIYA!".
Midnight raised her flogger "Ready!". Both sides nodded.
"Begin!!"
"Shoko. I want you to use your flames in this fight" Izuku said.
The bi-color haired girl scowled at him, "did my Father pay you to say that" she growled.
Izuku shook his head, "no. I'm doing this on my own merit. Limiting yourself not only endangers your life, but the people you swear to protect".
"I am not going to use his quirk" Shoko said, wisps of cold air and frost emanating from her right side.
"It's not his quirk, It's yours!" Izuku yelled. Shoko clicked her tongue in anger, "SHUT UP!", she screamed, swiping her arm and sending a wave of ice forward.
It immediately enveloped Izuku, leaving the stadium silent as another contestant was decommissioned. People groaned at the anticlimactic ending to a promising player.
Midnight waited a few seconds before announcing, "Izuku midoriya is out of comi-".
BOOM!
Everyone froze.
BOOM! BOOM!
Everyone turned to the glacier, which was covered in giant spiderweb cracks.
The cracks grew larger as louder booms emanated from it, until.
"ULTRA STRIUM BEAM!".
A large beam of energy shot out of the glacier, making it explode it in the process as it soared towards Shoko.
She quickly dodged, rolled across the ground as the beam flew over and hit the wall, causing a flurry of small explosions.
Shoko shakily stood up as she glared at the opposite end, as huge chucks of ice fell and cold mist filled the ring.
When the mist settled, it revealed Izuku, standing with his arms in a upside down L position, but something was different.
His uniform was no longer the classic blue tracksuit with red accents and white lines. Now it was red with silver and gold accents.
A fiery passion burned in his eyes, one that spelled trouble for the dual quirk user.
"Now as I said before. IT'S YOUR QUIRK!" He roared, rumbling the chests of everyone like thunder.
Shoko fully stood up, her glare strong enough to kill. "Huff. You talk to much".
"An you talk to little" he shot back before shooting forward.
Shoko reared her arm back, preparing another wave of ice. Predicting this, Izuku flipping forward, performing many midair corkscrew twists and flips.
He straightened out his leg, before it bursts into flames. "CRIMSON KICK!".
He landed the kick into her chest, causing a small explosion that sent her skidding back. She would've been sent out of bounds if she hadn't angered herself in ice, in addition to making a blockade of ice to stop her.
She coughed and reared her arm back again. But she realized he was right in front of her with his own arm in mid punch.
She ducked and rolled out of the way, with Izuku's punched shattering the ice wall. He turned to face her before holding his hands by his right side.
