"GO!".

Every student ran forward, rushing to get ahead of the rest. But the pure volume of students caused everyone in the corridor to be stuck.

Especially since Shoko froze the ground, Immobilizing almost everyone. Katsumi, Momo, Kirishima and Aoyama were able to jump over and pass the others.

"And starting off at first place, is Shoko Todoroki. Freezing the competition, while the rest of class 1-A in hot pursuit" Present Mic announced.

"Wait! What is this!?!". Something zoomed passed the hot and cold girl. That something was our favourite greenette, who had flown out of the crowded hall with his arms pointing up.

He passed by the dual haired girl, slowing down so he could land in a front roll. "In a quick turn of event, Izuku Midoriya has passed Todoroki, becoming first place".

Shoko scowled at the green haired boy in front of her. She stepped on the ground, aiming to freeze him in place. What she didn't pay attention to, was the announcement of the first obstacle.

"ROBO INFERNO!".

The path ahead was filled with the robots from the entrance exam, especially several giant zero-pointers.

So she was shocked when Izuku leaped high into the air, about eye level with the nearest zero pointer.

"GRAAAAHHHH!!!" He roared, as he side kicked the zero pointer in the head. Not only did he crumple their head like a can, but it was sent flying into the others, shocking the students, heroes and civilians watching as the gigantic machines all tumble to the ground, crushing the smaller robots.

It was so surprising that most of the contestants stoped in place to watch in awe.

"HOLY COW!! AIZAWA, WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING THESE KIDS?!" The vocal hero asked. The underground hero shook his head, "I didn't teach them anything. This is their own skill".

"You heard it here folks, Erasure head is a terrible teacher". "Excuse me?" He said offended.

Izuku landed and continued to run, followed by Class 1-A, a few of 1-B and a couple from the other classes who were able to defeat or pass by the remaining robots.

"After that stunning scene from Midoriya, he's nearing the next obstacle. THE PIT FALL!!" He yelled, as the students neared the second obstacle. Aizawa glared at him and grumble.

With his enhanced vision, Izuku could see a huge chasm that was filled with wires and stone pillars.

It didn't deter him as he dashed forward. Everyone expected him to stop and jump from pillar to pillar.

What they didn't expect was for him to jump onto one of the wires and slide across it likes he was riding a skateboard, only to jump again and slide across another wire until he went to the opposite side.

"GOOD GOD! WHAT CAN'T THIS KID DO?!". "Stop giving me headaches" Aizawa replied, earning a few chuckls from the crowd.

Seeing as he was a huge margin ahead, everyone began to put more effort.

Shoko made a ice bridge that she destroyed after crossing, Asui and a few others chose to carefully climb across the wires.

Some jumped from platform to platform, others like Katsumi boosted themselves over the chasm.

Surprisingly, Iida ran across the wires with amazing balance. Then everyone heard laughing. Looking back they saw a girl with pink dreadlocks decked out in machinery zipping across.

"Isn't that cheating?" One student asked. "Support course students are allowed to use any invention they used" Present Mic clarified.

As many passed the second Obstacle, Katsumi and Shoko were tied and behind Izuku, as he was a few good meters ahead.

But on a particular step, the ground exploded in a cloud of pink smoke, stopping Izuku in his tracks and causing the people closest to slow down.

"As Midoriya has now demonstrated. This is the final obstacle. THE MINEFIELD!!!" He screamed. The student's eyes widened as they realized the odd bumps in the ground.

Unfortunately Iida fell victim to a landmine as he stepped on one, flipping in the air as he was blasted away.

Carefully the students began to slowly weave their way in between each bump on the ground, careful not to activate them.

On the other hand, Katsumi was flying over them by boosting herself with explosions, while Shoko iced over the ground and ran across it.

But Izuku. Oh boy.

He raised his foot before stomping hard, causing the ground in in front of him to shake and rumble.

It caused many to stumble and fall. While it shattered Shoko's ice bridge and made her pause to balance herself, the stomp activated most of the landmines, causing a huge chain explosion.

The amount and force blew Shoko back and Katsumi out of the air, with anyone else in the minefield to either be sent back or out of the trail and disqualified for veering off path.

"OH MY GOOOODDD!!! Izuku Midoriya has just cleared the mine field. The first in the History of U.A.!!!!" Present mic screeched. Aizawa groaned and drank a jelly pouch.

Seeing as all the landmines were detonated, Izuku rushed forward, passing by everyone and gaining his 1st place back.

Quickly recovering, The ash blond and dual haired girls ran after him. The explosion greatly disoriented them, meaning that using their quirks could actually be detrimental in this situation.

So all 3 of them disappeared into the corridor. With the stadium waiting for the winner to emerge.

"And the for first place for the first round of the Sports Festival is..... IZUKU MIDORIYA!!!!" Present Mic screamed as the greenette appeared and broke through the end ribbon, winning him the obstacle race.

The whole stadium cheered, screams ringing out as Shoko and Katsumi arrived, second and third place respectively. Not long after, more began to follow.

As he stood in the middle of the stadium, he did see Mineta holding onto Momo's back with his sticky balls, wearing a lecherous grin as the girls front was exposed.

Internally cursing, Izuku pointed his fingers forward, discreetly sending a blast of energy that knocked the pervert off.

Momo felt it happen and looked to Izuku, who gave her a subtle nod. She nodded back in gratitude.

Once the 42nd student passed the line, the results were posted onto the screens. Showing places 1 to 42, with Izuku right at the top.

Midnight walked up with a mic in hand. "Alright. The top 42 participants will move onto the next round. For those who placed lower, don't worry as we have other ways for you to show off".

The main screen flashed some words before it began to circle through them as if it were a roulette wheel.

Eventually it landed on one.

CAVALRY BATTLE.

"Cavalry battle" Kaminari questioned. The screen changed to show All might being held up by 13 and present mic, which should be impossible given the size and muscle mass of the number 1 hero.

"You will be assigned a certain amount of points, based on your ranking in the obstacle race. So the points depend on each member of a team".

"So the points start at 5 at 42, 10 at 41 and so forth and so on".

Izuku nodded. By calculating his rank and multiply the deference by 5, his points should be around 205 or 210.

But he froze when he heard his points. "-but for first place. It's worth 10,000,000 points!!!" Midnight proclaimed.

"Huh?".
