One year. That's how long ago the incident had taken place, when the gang lost control.

Destruction, fear, heartbreak, every terrible thing someone could imagine being thrown upon him after he regained control. The security guard should've been there for him and his friends.. but she wasn't, she was against them.

After a year, everything had slowly gone back to normal, and repairs were almost finished in the building. The most challenging parts were fixing the Glamrock crew.. but they were all fixed, nonetheless. It seemed as though everything was fixed now.. though it wasn't.

Trust was something that couldn't be fixed.. at least to his standards. The person they had to rely on.. betrayed them, how does one just move on past that, especially when it endangers a friend's life?

Your POV:

A graduating yawn escaped your lips as you sat up, the sound of your alarm filling the room.

"One month left." You groaned to yourself, thinking about your school. It was nearing the end of April, and it was your senior year of high-school. Sure, you were sad for it to be over, however.. you didn't have too many reasons to miss it.

For one, friends weren't a very common tendency for you to have, though you did have a few. You were grateful for them, to just get you through the day.

"Y/n, come down here! We need to talk before you get ready for school!" Your mother hollered, causing you to finally trample out of bed.

You hurried down the stairs and into the kitchen, seeing your mom in a good mood as always. Your mom was your favorite person in existence, the literal reason you were still here today. She raised you by herself, and never passed up an opportunity to give you the best life possible, and you couldn't be more than thankful.

You yawned and slowly strutted into the kitchen, your shoulder-length black hair covering your face a bit, on accident of course.

"Morning Mom!" You exclaimed, trying to sound energetic, still waking up.

"Good morning sweetie!" Your mother exclaimed, embracing you in a tight hug. When she pulled away, she continued working at the stove, cooking some sort of egg dish. "I hope you don't mind, I'm making omelettes this morning." She said with a smile painting her face.

You smiled, "Sounds great as usual! I can't thank you enough." You chuckled. "Oh, I almost forgot! What was it that you were needing to talk about?"

She looked up at you and sighed, "Well, I've been alright with you not getting a job even though you're 18, since you're still in school, but bills are getting s but tight." She continued, "I can't keep affording gas or your car payments, so I really need you to find a way of collecting income, I'm sorry."

"Mom, it's okay! I've offered before, you know I don't mind." You said with a reassuring grin, and you hugged her. "I'm just thankful that you've been with me through all of this, I couldn't be more grateful. You've done plenty."

She smiled, "Thank you for being understanding. Now, go get ready, you don't wanna be late again.." She chuckled. "I swear, I don't think I'll be able to handle myself with that secretary again, telling me that my kid was 'unacceptably late again'."

Since you showered the night before, all you had to do was change into an outfit, and freshen up a bit. It didn't take long, and styling your hair was surprisingly a breeze.

Your outfit consisted of a plain blue t-shirt, a dark-grey hoodie, a pair of black sweatpants, and some checkered Vans. You didn't really have a sense of style, which was mainly caused by your self-image. You were more on the overweight side, causing your self-conscious to not allow you to wear clothes that interested you. A hoodie was the best option in your eyes.
