Getting ready for the entrance exam that day was a little bit nostalgic. Reminded him of his middle school. But he would rather not think of that right now. A couple of days ago Kurogiri dropped off what he was supposed to wear for the entrance exam. Dark blue sweats with an odd bright yellow line across it. But... he didn't feel like it. It was quite ugly to be honest (and very uncomfortable), definitely cheaply made. So many people talk about being a villain but never about the part of being poor that comes along with it. Like being poor and a villain? Like choose a struggle.

Kurogiri said it was supposed to look like that so he doesn't attract any unneeded attention. Like, he will attract more attention by wearing that. No thank you.

So two days before the exam, Izuku had made some support gear on his wrist and calf underneath normal clothes so he can be underestimated against, since he is quirkless, not that anyone knows that. Well yet... In the rule book, it mentioned that we are not allowed to bring support items. But he found a loophole in it. At 4 in the morning he found that we have to get permission, a good reason and if we made it ourselves then we can bring support gear. So he sent an email with all the requirements a couple of days ago so now he just needs to print out the email saying he can bring it and show them it when he enters the exam. All is good.

The gear he made wasn't too hard to make. It was the same gear on his "villain" costume. So he just needs to copy paste it and make some adjustments and it's done.

Carrying his yellow backpack with him, with just a notebook and pen (and post it note and another pen and some tissue and hand sanitizer and his keys, some money, and- look- actually don't ask), he walked down to the train station. He was already wearing his support gear on him so he doesn't need to change later.

Getting on the L train, he took a seat in the mostly empty train, putting his backpack on his thigh.

He also knew that there is a chance that he will meet an old friend of his during the test. He just needed to avoid him if he does see him there. All Kacchan talked about was getting into UA, and with that quirk of his... he just hopes he doesn't get put in the same class as him, or interact with him, or see him during the exam, or meet him before the exam...  just... Izuku has a lot of plans and he doesn't want to be outed as "quirkless" before any of his plans get put in action. Although a couple is already in action right now. But he has some back-up plans so he should be fine. His goal is to be put into the support class, not even the hero class, but maybe-

Oh, wait, that's his stop.

Getting off he started walking towards UA. It really does look a lot like what he saw on TV... It felt like a decade ago when he used to watch the sports festival at home and watch in pure excitement as his mom made some of his favorite dishes. Now he does it to analyze everything, and he means everything. Even the ones who sit in the crowd who would look like they had a cool quirk or just so happened to catch his attention.

He showed his ID to one of the staff members there and walked into the waiting room. Immediately he started analyzing everyone and everything. Looking for the quickest exit if something were to go south, anyone he recognizes, anyone with an obvious quirk and people with less obvious quirk. Running down a list of weakness and strength and how he would be able to beat them. He walked toward one of the empty benches and watched people interact and continue to make his list longer.

The first part of the exam was the written portion about what a hero did wrong in a scenario and what they should have done, some multi choice questions and an optional feedback area in the back. We got 1 hour and 30 minutes. Izuku purposely answers 5 out of the 50 questions wrongly. He hoped the people around him would not be too dumb so he can fit right into the average percent. He finished the test 50 mins before the time was up, even triple checking his answer, wondering if he should make it so 10 of his answers are wrong instead. (He made 7 of them wrong. Making sure to circle a couple before erasing it so it looks like he chose the correct answer but doubted himself and changed to a wrong answer.)
