3. Test

The test was fairly easy. He had already gotten 12 of the middle level robots, which is about 24 points and a couple of the small robots. 1 point each for those small ones. So a total of 33 points as of now. He was taking his sweet time. We had 2 hours to take this test. Which was a decent amount of time. They were 1 hour and a bit in. Izuku had made a trap for all the robots that had followed him down the builds. Yes, traps are allowed. The trap was away from everyone so no one would fall in, since it would be really hard to get out... well unless you can avoid all the spikes down there and if not... you're out of luck.

He uses his support items to swing through the buildings, avoiding everyone and the cameras. Not trying to show his skills so early on. Also he knew that when he gets into UA he will have less time to be able to swing through the city like this and he's going to miss it. So might as well do it now.

He knew that UA was rich and a big portion of taxes fund it. That's why they are able to afford big cities like this. And however much the robots cost. Probably about $2000 each? Eh.

Okay, anyways, so UA is rich but rich rich? Yeah probably, (so Izuku doesn't feel that bad for accidentally breaking a few of their cameras that aren't moving robots. Look, he's just trying to be safe) There is no way they put cameras everywhere. Yeah they have those camera robots that can move around and watch everyone but a good amount of them fell into Izuku traps. And he's not really feeling nice right now. So he's ignoring them.

He needs at least another 22 for a pass on this test. Unlike the written portion where your grade needs to be an average among your peers. This combat one you need to have at least 55 points to be able to pass. Izuku has an advantage since he knows the minimal requirements to pass (he knows this because he had hacked into the system a couple of days beforehand). Everyone else is just trying to get as many robots as possible. Which can make them very reckless and also another reason why Izuku is so far away from everyone, but he's pretty sure that was also a part of the test. He doesn't want to get caught in the crossfire. This is enough excitement for a good couple of months.

The robots with the cameras in Izuku traps must be made with better metal because they aren't breaking in his trap, which is pretty annoying because they keep repeating, "Unable to move." A couple of them were fine at first. But now there are at least 10 of them and Izuku is contemplating whether or not he should move to another place and remake his trap.

He swung round a building crashing into another two robots. Now with 40 points. Just when he was able to be a little less nice to the camera robots in his trap and make them shut up. He heard an "ahhH." It's not not normal to hear a scream but he was far away from everyone. It's also very odd that the constant "Unable to move." robot's sound just stopped.

Confused, Izuku went towards the sound, which also just so happened to be where his trap is.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, this was already unfair, what the hell, who made this??!" Now Izuku was a little amused, wondering who fell in.

"Now that's not a robot," Izuku commented, obviously joking, as he quickly scanned the person in his pit. They were not harmed, that's good. The messy purple hair, they were taller than him, eye bags, probably has a bad sleep schedule. Izuku can relate.

"Were you the one who made this?" This person was definitely frustrated and a bit flustered.

"My answer may change depending on how you may react." Izuku was avoiding the question, clearly teasing.

The person now looks more frustrated, a snarky reply about to roll off his tongue when Izuku cut him off, "Okay yeah it was me. Can you get out?"

"No, I can't," he huffed after he was rudely cut off.

"Okay, so a couple other robots are about to come over, in about 2 minutes-"

"WHAT, DUDE GET ME OUT."

"Okay okay." Izuku swung down to the bottom of his pit. Looking at the many robot eyes staring at the two.

"What you're allowed to bring that," the purple hair questioned or accused. Izuku was right, this person was taller than him.

"Mmhm it was in fine print," Izuku responded. The camera robots are motion sensitive so it probably stopped chanting "Unable to move" when it saw the purple hair, or its "savior." That's good.

"Okay, wrap your arm around me, ..." Izuku trail off.

"Shinsou," the purple hair finished for him.

"Oh I'm Izuku," he mirrored. When he felt Shinsou wrap securely around him he launched themself out, knocking over 2 more robots before they landed by one of the builds. 44 points.

"Wow. Is that your quirk?"  Shinsou said in awe and a bit of jealousy.

"Not really," Izuku reply, wanting to avoid that topic. He spotted more robots moving towards them. Shinsou slump down the wall and let out a sigh. Izuku wanted to ask what's wrong because clearly this person was giving up. Based on what he said before, his quirk probably does work well with robots. So maybe it would only work on a human?

"What's your quirk?" he asked instead. Look, he wanted to know about other people's quirk, not the other way around.

He hesitated before he said, "brainwash..." he was avoiding eye contact.

"Oh, that's a really powerful quirk," Izuku's assumption was correct. So that's why he was annoyed and said it was unfair..

Izuku didn't miss the look of surprise from the boy.

Shinsou was expecting to be rejected and cast away not.. complemented, "What... really?"

"Yeah! That's a really cool quirk, it's really powerful too! Like mind control you basically have the upper hand in basically any situation-," Izuku ranted.

"Oh wait, hold up." he cut himself off. Swinging himself towards another 3 robots. 49 points. Kicking one towards the other, dodging its wild swing as it collapses and then swinging against the last smaller one. Then swinging back towards where Shinsou is, "Hey."

"Yeah, your quirk is definitely cooler than mine. That was quick." Shinsou said in more awed.

"Noo," Izuku trails off, "How does your quirk work?" he questioned instead. Better to know more about someone rather than the other way around.

"Oh, it's activated when someone responds back to me," the purple hair responded a lot less hesitated.

"Wow..." now it's Izuku with awe in his voice, "Wow." He repeated in a different tone, "It's really unfair for people with your kind of quirk."

Shinsou couldn't believe someone else had the same kind of viewpoint as him,"Yeah.." shocked.

"YOU GUYS HAVE 45 MINUTES LEFTT." Present Mic

A sigh, "I'm probably not going to pass this test.." back to the depressing mode.

Izuku scratches the back of his head, "I can help you make that same trap-"

"Wait, really?!" Shinsou shouted, questioned.

"Mhmm." Izuku knew where the robots came from so they traveled to a more crowded place. Setting up the trap took 5 minutes, 3 minutes less compared to when Izuku set it up himself.

Izuku already passed with 59 points so now he is just damaging the robots so Shinsou can finish them off. He was also keeping track of how many points they were racking up, Izuku didn't want to go above 60. Shinsou now has 41. At least the amount he helped get him.

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES LEFT, I REPEAT 10 MINUTES LEFT!" Present Mic

Shinsou now has 49.

51.

53.

56.

Phew, they did it, but he can't tell him that since he's not supposed to know how many points they need to pass. It was now a lot more chaotic since that 10 minute mark and there is so much more explosion in the background.

Before they knew it the test was up.

Shinsou has 64 points.

Izuku has 61 point.

Shinsou probably had never worked as hard as he did that day.
