Rosé's P.O.V.

It was a cold and frosty evening as snowflakes fell down on the city skyline of Seoul. Yet, the atmosphere was electric with excitement as Jisoo and I made our way to the arena to watch our favourite band performing in concert. Locating our seats from the side of the busy arena, we were so near the stage it seemed surreal.

As the music began, it felt like a dream. The bass of the guitar, the drums in the background and the lyrics I knew by heart. It was one of those special occasions to just relax and unwind whilst listening to our favourite music that seemed so rare and unique for us now.

We sung in harmony, dancing to our favourite songs, with the loud cheering of the crowd and neon lights buzzing all around us. I smiled at Jisoo who was singing along in excitement to the familiar lyrics. She always sang so beautifully both on and off stage as we smiled for the camera.

"This may be the best day ever!" Jisoo yelled while cheering above the loud music as I just chuckled noticing how happy she seemed. I always liked spending time with her and lately we were lucky enough to have more free time in our schedules to go for dinner or go shopping. We'd been waiting to attend this concert for a few weeks and been talking about it non-stop since getting the tickets.

At the dorm, I often spend time rehearsing my guitar and singing. It was always relaxing for me to write songs or reflect on the day through music. It was that passion that had inspired me to pursue a career in the music industry. I joined SM Entertainment and it was through training and debuting there that I met Jisoo.

She was funny and charasmatic and along with Lisa and Jennie we quickly got to know one another. It seemed like a dream when we trained to debut that we might eventually achieve such a high level of stardom.

"I wonder if that will be us one day on stage." I questioned out loud as she turned to me in curiosity.

"It will be, Rosé. I think it's destiny." She said, holding my hand with a warm smile as I admired her in awe. I really liked her though shyly I found it hard to ever say. Despite my confidence performing in concert or on TV, I was often shy and Jisoo always knew how to cheer me up or give me encouragement to keep going when the days were long and tiring. That was her magic of being able to cheer up others having such a comforting presence.

As the days turned to weeks, I kept that hope that she might be right. That we would be successful in our own music careers. It would be fate that we would one day have the spotlight and stage to ourselves to perform our own songs. And I knew when that moment finally arrived, Jisoo would be there beside me to share in the happy memories and special moments together.
